Hello all:
I’m a new guy to the board and figured I would start posting for the New Year. I’m a small time gambler. $25 bets maybe $50
I do have some cash in my account right now (about 1300) due to winning my season bet on my Buffalo Bills overall record (over 6.5 wins)
I suck at football; honestly it’s free money for the books. Hockey I’m pretty decent. Hockey is my passion and having read through the posts here for about two months I noticed the better hockey gamblers think as I do. Sure you cap the game (I definitely don’t consider myself a capper) but after crunching all the numbers you have to have some understanding of the game from the standpoint of a player. Having played the game (I didn’t play at any impressive level) you understand the ups and downs a little better.
But I guess we will see if I have a clue as I will try and keep track of wins and losses here now.
One game tonight and quite frankly I don’t love it. I’m going to bet it simply because it’s on the board. I’m sure smart gamblers realize that is when you don’t place a bet.
San Jose is going through a scoring issue right now. Really their biggest problem is being lost without Joe Thornton (who is out tonight)
Winnipeg has a small home arena that gets loud. But it’s a Monday. Sell out crowd? I doubt it. Michael Hutchinson has been really good in net. Couple that with the Jets scoring more consistently than the Sharks and being at home I’m going with the Jets. But like I said, I don’t love this game.
(just realized I'm a dumb ass putting in this so late, sorry)
