im on home side to draw even 2nite in what has quickly become a bitterly contested series, bad blood flowing with ducks accusing stars of targeting getzlaf's jaw injury, "crossing the line" as one wag put it...
from the other side of that argument: 'are u kidding me it's the playoffs for bleep sake"...
gabby boudreau suggests he wouldn't get his players to zero in on wounded opposition; yah right methinks that's gabby whistling past the graveyard, in the post-season you try to use every edge you can get, and bottom line, i think stars have succeeded in getting under ducks' skin...
last change courtesy of home barn gives dallas a nice advantage in matchup war, lindy ruff is a master tactician and I feel he has the grunts and pests to aggravate ducks' big cannons, in a chess match move-for-move i'll take ruff over gabby every day of the week...
never been a big lehtonen fan but coming off whitewash in game 3 i look for a confident performance, u never kno but we could be witnessing start of nice roll...not so sure about the guy at the other end of the rink, i give definite bump to dallas between pipes...
side note: i view boudreau's scratching of teemu selanne 2nite as a strategic move, get selanne away from the dallas gnats OTR and have slighted oldtimer amped up when series shifts back to pond...i can see the logic; im also convinced gabby figures they'll be goin home tied 2-2...
PICK: DALLAS (-110)
break a leg every1 lets do it 2 the shyz b4 they do it 2 us

Live here in Dallas and couldn't believe all the crying from Ducks big guns......OMG.. Getslaf worrying about them going after his wounded JAW than why was he throwing punches with his gloves on at Garbitt, them Garbitt smacked him right back, guess, right in the kisser STARS know this...they know the are acting like a wounded animal Like you pointed out RUFF knows he gets last change and he is going to let the Rat Pack nibble and pester Ducks big Boys Always go after a team's weakness
Mondays home game was very very refreshing....first playoff game in home barn in over 6 years and with a dominating perfromance to boot Youngin's better not overlook their elder counterparts tonite, early Duck lead would be crushing.....With Ruff's coaching, getting a few more playoff games into these kids experience profile, they will truly benefit for the upcoming years
On another note, some veteran NHL watchers say Ducks are fortunate to be up 2-1, Stars appear to be the hungrier, albeit inexperienced, quick footed, motivated squad

Good luck on your next plays bud. This series is over in 5. Ducks win tonight and game 5.
Since your average JAW doesn't feel extremely better overnight or in a few days.........I would say that the little STARS have a fairly good chance at pulling off the SERIES upset I am sure plenty of #8 seeds have pulled off similar upsets of #1 seeds in NHL playoffs before
