nothing from Coach Claude Julien or the Bruins Thursday on Nathan Horton's "upper body injury" which is believed to be his left shoulder. with the standard playoff "secret squirrel", probably will NOT have anything "for sure" until at least late Friday or early Saturday BUT doesn't sound good ![]()
https://twitter.com/MurphysLaw74 says "For those asking, I do not have definitive answer on Nathan Horton's injury. Upper body as far as I know. Big loss for Bruins if he is out!" also "If Horton misses Game 2, I wouldn't be surprised to see 19 back with 37 and 63 and 68 with 46 and 17". (that would be Seguin (19) with Bergeron (37) and Marchand (68) AND Jagr (68) with Krejci (46) and Lucic (17)
https://www.csnne.com/blog/bruins-talk/upper-body-injury-knocks-horton-out-game-1 said “There's nothing to say,” (about Horton) said Bruins head coach Claude Julien, “because our doctors haven't finalized the evaluation properly.”
also "Tyler Seguin skated in Horton’s place alongside David Krejci and Milan Lucic, BUT switching in the speedy youngster for the powerful, productive power forward represents a big change in the style of play for that line."
Milan Lucic commented (on Horton possably not being able to play) “It sucks. Everyone knows how big of a player he is for us, especially in the playoffs. He’s also shown that he can score big goals at big times.”
