I know this though there is zero argument to be made by anyone that this guy should be reffing any of these games. There are many refs to use and any from Boston or Chicago should be excused. That is just common sense 101 for a league that is starting to be compared to the NBA by many.



I agree why does the NHL even put themselves in this position.Just pick the ones that are not from Chicago and Boston how hard is it/

Of course you know I am on the Bruins for the series but a move like this is so fishy I could bait my old mans lobster pots with it.

In my job...we cannot accept any gifts over $20.00 U.S. because of just the look of impropriety.

It does just make the NHL look bad. I mean...a great original six matchup should be enough to really boost the League at this point what with national TV in the U.S. Don't need to make it WWE.

That being said...if Rask plays the way he did against the Pens...I think the Bruins may have enough with or without the zebras.

If I reffed Game Seven of the Hawks v. Wings series, I guarantee you Chicago's OT goal would've been waved off as well.

 The Bruins are just now getting their first PP in the game at 14 mins in the 3rd period. Don't see how the ref has helped the Bs

When countries play eachother in international play the refs doing the game must be from other countries. It's only common sense, so the integrity of the sport and game being played is not put into question.

When international rugby games are played, the ref cannot be of either nationality.  Makes sense.

Also, whether there would be bias or not, why even put that ref in that spot?

The pressure on him because of this must enormous.  If he calls too many, he's slanted.  If he doesn't call any or enough, he's too careful and overcompensating.
