 3-10-1 ML, 3-5 PL, 0-1 Series Bet -39.15 Units (juice incl)

I'd like to OPEN up this spot for ALL of you.  What a ride to the Cup Final series it has been indeed.  Please stop on in and we can recap the games; share any thoughts on this year; AND PLEASE, post up who you like to win.
As for ME:  I'm on the Blackhawks.  I skated and played junior hockey in Glen Elen, Illinois when I was just a boy. Pops was a Blackhawks fan.  Let's do this.

As for the Bruins, wow.  They look scary good.  Wey2V will be on them for sure.  I think the line comes out pretty close here with Oddsmakers slightly favoring the Hawks (~ -130) and Bruins at (-110).  I think this series goes the distance.  IF one team can gain advantage away, THEN it may go 6 games.

welp tried starting a similar thread and no ones buzzing about it yet, so lets get into it..Im still shocked at the sweep over the Pens, knew they would give Pitt a hard time but no one saw that coming. They have an amazing mix of veterans and rookies and they really hit their stride in these playoffs.. Blackhawks were just INSANE all year and have the fire power to consistently beat any team. 

The goalies are going to have a lot to do with this series but in no way does it come down to just that..These teams are so evenly matched at this point its been making my head spin trying to figure out an angle on this, leaning Blackhawks but my god the bruins have been destroying every one.Gonna come down to puck possession and defense, Any thoughts on o/u plays? Ill most likely be on the under for the first game. Bol GnQ

There's a ton of stuff to cover before the puck drops. I'm still at the Pittsburgh Pity Party til later, I think a lot of peeps are looking to see what time the Pens start. (I know I was) Well, time for another rape shower...anyone see Ace Ventura Pet Detective (shower scene), that was me all weekend.

sd, YOU are a funny guy.  I have a group of buddies out at the Series (WSOP) playing in some of the events out there and it's usually prefaced by LOTS of the same craziness my friend.
Puck drops soon.

I am still a bit surprised Vegas odds-makers DID NOT come out with a minus line on the Bruins as well as the Hawks   Seems like it's gonna be a tight one either way

I gotta go with the team and goalie that just held the highest scoring team in the league to 2 total goals in 4 games. Bruins +135 and for those that say "well the Blackhawks offense isn't the Penguins", I said the same thing about the Pens after the Bruins dispatched the Rangers.

BUT I also think that either one of these two could "get on a roll" and either sweep or win in 5 games.

Hawks in 6.  But that is with a gun to my head.  First series all Playoffs that I have been confounded to pick a winner.

GNQ - loads of respect here for the Hawks AND I have no clue how this series will play out.....I am just looking forward to seeing my Bruins back in the Stanley Cup for the 2nd time in 3 years!

I do however like the Under 5 for Game 1.....I think we will see a feeling out type of game here with a low score or 2-1 or 3-1 (hopefully in favor of my BROOONS  ) after that I fully believe it's anyone's guess!

decided there really is NO "value" in that Bruins +125 (down from +135) series after they were +175 against the Penguins. better off straight betting the 1st two games in Chicago on a "Lippsman Split".

I just took a half a buck on the two exacta "sweep" plays, Bruins 4-0 @ +1300 and Blackhawks 4-0 @ +1000. like I said earlier, just think one or the other could "get on a roll"

IF someone put a gun to my head on this, I think I'd take the Bruins  DESPITE my being a Hawks fan here.

Ratmeister, agreed. ONE of these teams is capable of winning in 5 BUT BOTH are capable of reeling the other in.  Lippsman split might BE THE PLAY here for the first 2 games AND I'm in agreement with you on the Under.

Wey2V:  spot on it mon frere.  UNDER 5 is going to be my play.  And though I think the ONLY possibilities are that NEITHER team sweeps.  Bruins either win this thing in 6-7 OR Hawks win in 6-7.  I'm sticking with you on the Under 5 for game 1

I'll give you a report after game 2.  I'll be in the belly of the beast.   Went to Vancouver game 5 two years ago and will represent the boys in Chi town.   go Bruins.   As to who wins, I think you'll need to see how the match up.  All the speculation in the world won't mean garbage after they lace on the skates.  The key is to see the 50/50s for intensity, defensive schemes vs the Chi stretch plays and speed, and Chis intensity vs the Bs crashing forwards.    Rask will outplay Crawford but Chi will have more chances.  Neither team will go away mentally.  Either team can beat the other though.

Its kinda hard to predict these 2 teams cause the last time they played was back in 2011. I think it will be a low scoring game for game 1. I want the Hawks to win the cup but I think Bruins will win it. I can see them winning the cup this year from the way they are playing. Their defense are CRAZY!!!

Im not sure about the Hawks winning first game either Im probably just gonna bet under. we will see if hawks can win first game if they can i will bet them game 2.

Jules, tgnx for droppin by. Glad to low you're ALSO a Hawks fan. I'm a fan of the Logo honestly. I can really only remember that as a kid. Either way, if Kane played on the Rangers or Bruins or somewhere else, would hope HE gets HIS act together and become more of an team player rather than a selfish, puck hogging, lack-of forechecking spotlight hogging person.
Hope he and Marchand get into it in the series.

IF you think this thing goes 7. LVSuperbook just posted their "exactas" and the "se7ens" are Bruins +600 and Blackhawks +400. those are considerably higher than WilliamHill's +450 / +280

StretchMula, it's Under 4.5 on mine now @ +115.  Still like it for game 1, although 2-2 end of 3rd is mighty scary

Not discounting the Bs sweep of the penguins but that penguins team just wasn't there mentally. They're playing great hockey right now and coming in hot. The hawks were down against the red wings but the red wings in the playoffs are a formidable team. They came back and won. The bruins damn near lost to the leafs and I assume the leafs just had a huge brain fart in the last game. It'll be interesting to watch these two teams play each other and as fans I think we're all in for a good series. I'm leaning on the hawks to win it all. Not making any wagers anymore haha. Good luck everybody.

Those that follow hockey in the western conference know all about team speed , Chi-town has the edge which could be the difference overall , can CJ make the adjustments to combat that speed , he saw after game one in the east final the guy to have ZC cover EM and not 87 was key in the series. Too close to call , 7 games , homer series .

Valdy, agreed.  Leaning Hawks, WANT Hawks and don't care for that Bs team too much EXCept for Rask and their logo.
Methinks EACH team gets 1 game away and it goes Hawks in 6-7
