Okay so the visiting Strangers dropped game one in overtime to Boston and heading into today's action it was thought that maybe, just maybe New York would rebound to ties the series at a game apiece. Unfortunately for Stranger fans that doesn't look like it's going to happen as Boston leads the visitors 4-2 with play in the third period. The Bruins once again came into this game with a depleted defense corps but the stand-ins are doing a superb job, particularly Tory Krug who notched his second goal in as many games. The major difference between the two teams is that Boston has been able to capitalize on their scoring chances while the Strangers have failed. Shouldn't come as a big surprise given the visitors have had trouble scoring for the better part of the season anyway. Many thought this might be a solid six and maybe even a seven-game series but at the rate Boston has been handling the Strangers with relative ease, this series could be over in four or five games. ![]()
