THAT is going to be a freeking WAR and EITHER team could knock off the Bhawks way they are playing right now. in fact, the winner of that series could very well WIN the Cup

They should be alright. Still looked good in 4 of the 5

As a Wings fan living 15 minutes from Anaheim, I don't even care if we get swept by the hawks. It's been house money since the Wings ensured a game 6 quite honestly.

This is the worst Red Wings team in 22 years and they still managed to keep the playoff streak alive and now upset a 2 seed. I was just happy they made the playoffs, the Ducks series is a huge bonus for a team that is in somewhat of a transitional phase.

I think the Blackhawks win the cup, I'm just really happy about tonight's result and already looking forward to next season.

I m about as biased as it gets when for an educated person lol but you never know man...I was just reading how issues/divisions within management trickled down to the players last year and that was a factor in our 1st round exit against that inferior phoenix team. Our goalies could go through a cold spell, chemistry could get ruined somehow, injuries (e.g. Hossa last year) etc....with guys like Zetterberg and Datsyuk on your team, you always have a chance!

I'm not saying the Wings don't have a chance, I still think the Hawks win though. This Wings team is still transitioning and this season, despite starting slowly, has really turned out great. I just don't expect some time of Kings-like Cup run from them. Not saying it can't happen, I just don't think it will or even go past this next round.

I'm just happy the Wings made the playoffs and really happy they beat the Ducks.

I have to admit I have a strong dislike for SoCal hockey and the lack of coverage and attention it gets around here.......until the Ducks or Kings are in a great position to go to the Finals.

Sports talk radio and local media coverage is all Lakers, a lot of Dodgers, good amount of Clippers, and USC football. Hockey gets no play until someone makes a West Final around here.

Don't worry, if Chicago continues to play the same way they have this season, they will take care of those California teams.
