Pittsburgh Penguins @ New York Islanders

Question

Seeing as this is the only game tomorrow I thought it would be a good idea for everyone to share there thoughts and help each other make the best possible play.

Bylsma "hinted" that Vokoun will start again but we cannot be sure until tomorrow. Crosby and Tavares both short-listed for Hart trophy and despite Vokoun's stellar performance I think we will see a ton of goals between these high-octane attacks. Leaning Penguins but far from decided on this one.

Seems like you all think Vokoun gets the nod and logically so. Okay so let us try to get into his mind. In the last game Vokoun was placed in a "saviour" role in the sense that Fleury was dreadful in the previous games. Now, Vokoun has likely stolen the starting role and is in a much different scenario in which he is expected to perform. His confidence should be high off of a SO against a team few are able to stop from scoring. Islanders have been great at home in the two home games, at least offensively and off a 0 goal performance I expect them to net about 3 goals here.

Anyone here locking in the Islanders? If so, why?

You have to start Vokoun. I for one am leaning towards hammering the Pens. The Pens know anything can happen in a game 7 (especially IF there are issues in net). Pitt needs to end this now. Isles will score at home and you know Pitt will get theirs.

Anyone here locking in the Islanders? If so, why? &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;IF I bet the game, it will be Islanders moneyline &#x2B;150. they have been VERY resilient coming back from a loss this series. they out played the Pens 1st period last game BUT got stoned by TV. also ALL the PRESSURE on my Penguins. they lose THIS game, they are looking at the ghost of 1993

Let&#x27;s not forget DB has a history of sticking with his number 1 despite if he&#x27;s stinking up the joint.(like straight up cat$hit) But he hasn&#x27;t had a back-up like Tomas right? I still think the Flour is reeling from that Philly play-off series...I personally thinks he needs to sit (undisclosed injury) until the next round. If its Vokuon I believe I&#x27;ll play the puck-line, or the over if it&#x27;s FLOUR. But they have to start TV right? I&#x27;m thinking the Isles would rather play "the flour".

Let&#x27;s hope (pens bettors) that Nabakov gets to start..he doesn&#x27;t have the constitution for big games. He&#x27;s got a look when he&#x27;s giving it up, he puts the chin of his mask on to his chest. He had that pee-wee look down pat in San Jose, I&#x27;d want to play NABS.

#1 Reason to back the PENS here folks!!!!game 1- 5 game 2- 3game 3- 5game 4- 4game 5- 4Those are the # of goals the Pens scored each game. If it wasn&#x27;t for the small penguin pylon standing between the pipes for the Pens, this series would have been over in game 5. Vokoun brings a new element to this team, which is they finally have a decent goalie now. Fleury let it way too many soft, team draining goals throughout this series. Pitts offense is unreal, and their PP is a machine right now. Nabokov has looked weak glove side, and Pitts offense will exploit that once again. . But I&#x27;m not wagering on a team, who would need to put up 4 or 5 goals to get a win. The price on the pens in regulation should be pretty fair in this game. Gluck either way. Pens in Regulation is my play***(odds not yet posted....guessing they will by 1.70ish for the pens)

I think last game  the Pens finally figured out this pesty Ilander team .At first I feel they overlooked this young team who came on strong last month of the season.,but last games total domination was what many thought would be the way the whole series should of went . I posted 2 games ago .the Ilanders finally shot there load and would lose the next 2 ,well I was wrong they had one more left in them ,but the way they looked last game  looks like my prediction was only a game off Pens will not let this team hang around like when the series started. . And as loud as the Mosilium gets ,the bandwagon fans who havent been near there builing in 3 years  will be easily quited if the Pens go up a goal or two ..A good run for the team whos fans let them move to Brooklyn,but in the end the better  more experiance team will prevail  Pitts takes this 4-2  .As the Icelandersmake there way down the Belt parkway to there new home on Atlantic ave.

Over 6 for me. As gastown listed, Pit can obviously score, we all know that. NYI should be good for 2, I hope. I&#x27;ll guess 5-2 Pit, unless maf is in, then I&#x27;ll double my over play. Good luck guys

agree with gastown completely.  Nabakov never has a good game or even a not so bad game.  Nabakov seems to consistantly let in at least 4 goals.  Isles can score, but 4 or 5 is asking a lot.huge islanders fan so will probably just watch in horror while you guys win money.
