I watched most of all four games. the Hosersharks completely OUT PLAYED Vancouver in all aspects of the game. IF they got more PP's it's because the Sharks were pressing the action and the Canucks had to foul to prevent scoring plays. Nieme was better than either Luongo or Schneider. Sharks forwards were bigger and quicker than the Canucks. Shark D was more responsable in their own end and most of all four games was played in the Vancouver zone.

The Sedin call was pretty bogus, but the penalty disparity happens when one team lacks composure and takes stupid penalties.

I&#x27;ll never understand why people continue to make excuses for the Canucks.  It&#x27;s like they get screwed over ALL the time.  Maybe they just aren&#x27;t that good.

last game chara acted as he got hit with a high stick yet nothing made contact with him

nhl please review this...it's hard for the refs when a players dramatically falls in the boards but that dsedin hit was a shoulder to shoulder position play ..every players knows its coming

Sharks finally closed a series and won a game that they had lots of Bull$hit PP's The Chokers did it! won that game with lots of PP's. Lets hope the Refs are as good to ya the next series... Sedin has made his last shoulder to shoulder hit in a game that we will see.. Big Bad Sedin with a reputation ..I wonder if he will skate into the opposing players bench and whack the players? Now that is a deserved call. Does the trend continue? the team who beats the Nucks will go on to win the Cup . I had the Sharks in 6 as I believe they are good and will go deep.. as for the Nucks, time to change the organization and starts with Gillis...Nice post PB

Another thing with the Sedin call is when he gets a penalty for that in OT for what I consider a clean hit, look at the one last night that Matt Cooke delivered with no call...   We know too much on Cookie here.

I agree PB but my opinion doesn&#39;t hold much worth as a homer. The Sharks were the better team and didn&#39;t need the refs help but got it anyways

looks like the nhl politicians want sharks       even though canucks were not playing particulary well , the nhl didnt do them any favors    we will see next round    my hunch says take the sharks

I watched this entire series and cannot believe people are hung up on the refs. No Mention of the Canucks Offense not showing up? Didn't the Sedins produce 6 Asissts an 0 Goals (Could be Wrong)? What about them two top 10 goalies? Where were they? The last two goals were awfully weak goals by Scnieder.

Maybe AV ought to practice some power play kills instead of teaching his sedin sisters to swim.

Refs did the Canucks a favour. Sharks put them to sleep. FORE!

should be 2-2, canucks choked two leads late and lost in OT. That&#x27;s how quickly it can turn into a sweep.People are going to think Sharks are good now....

Totally agree with you Polar. The Sharks were the better team, but certainly had a helping hand in advancing via the sweep. The Canucks were outmatched, but losing 2 OT games and getting bad calls against them definitely aided in ending this series in 4. Daniel Sedin hardly ever throws a body check and his hit was clean, and probably surprised the Shark player who never imagined being hit. I still don&#x27;t think SJ has what it has to make it out of the West, let alone the 2nd round, but the extra week of rest could benefit them somewhat.

Both the pentalies the Nucks got to end the game and in OT are pentalies that are called all the time now, I agree the NHL is a joke now but would disagree that both of those shouldnt have been called.  Both were really stupid plays by Daniel and Bieska and the Nucks are a dumpster fire overall.

A lot of people saying the sharks were the more dominant team. Which is a given but polar is mentioning the bad calls and quite frankly if those calls didn&#39;t happen u never know what could swing the series

They happen in every series, I havent watched every game but watched last night and the Nucks were going no where, they cant score and their goaltending is beyond repair.

Should these have been calls? A lot worse than Sedin's hit, by guys with reputations...The refs have been missing left, right, centre on everything and it's infuriating and inexcuseable...

PS. Didn't think it was possible but nice to see 'Nuck haters looking at things somewhat objectively.
