Allow me to chime in on this one if you will. When the Rangers won in Carolina a month ago, they did so only because Lundqvist made 50 saves. Further, this is Carolina's final home game, and in a market where hockey is clearly not No. 1, they will want to end on a positive note in front of the Raleigh fans to spark support for next season. The Canes were supposed to win the division this season but injuries really hurt the cause. Cam Ward was probably the biggest. Joni Pitkanen is still out, but for the most part they are as healthy as they have been. It's a team that skates extremely well and in watching the last gamre vs, NYR, the Rangers could not handle their speed either in the netutral or D zones. Ride the King is this one if you must, but don't be surprised if this inconsistent Ranger team either has to depends on a Jets loss later, or beating the Devils at home on Saturday afternoon. I hope you are right that the Rangers win and get this over with, but after watching every Ranger game this season, I am anything but convinced. Just my 2 cents.
