NJ Devils are an Embarrassment to the League

This team doesn't deserve to compete in this league at all. Watching them play the first five minutes tonight reminds me of the Bruins playing against a junior B team. They're slow, out of sync and downright pathetic. Through the first quarter  of the opening period they've surrendered a penalty shot and a shorthanded goal to visiting Boston. Oh yeah, did I mention they already trail 2-0? Add another team to the list of teams set to take an early vacation.

I listened to an interview with Zach Parise of the Wild. When asked about his time in Jersey, he admitted the "system" works, but he'd never play there again because they take the creativity out of hockey.

Pretty sad when you're going to lose the game being up at least a man the whole game.

the bruins have 9 goals on their last 43 shots playing these 2 teams that have quit

yet they keep costing me $..i had bos -1.5 van -1.5 parlay..damn pricks.. thats 3 times in the last 2 weeks nj cost me $$$$

NJ grabbed 19 out of a possible 24 pts in the first 'quarter' of the season. Since then, they've earned 8 pts and 12 pts in the second & third quarters of the season, respectively. 

Despite being in the playoff hunt and looking like a .500 team, they exploded out of the gates and have been horrible ever since.
