Week 1 @5dimes RESULTS 35-18 +49UI had a strong first week at my new book. Strategic multiple per game bets with varying value have been working out well thus far, along with deeper research. Which is not to say that continues. I am sure to get some bad beats, and I do have to edit better.

The Sharks have been in the tank for 4 games. And what better to chum the waters with than with the rank CBJ who are on a B2B, losing to the unpredictable & slippery Oil. This game, though, is a no-brainer, and the only thing that might suck is the juice - but that is what our PLs are for! I just might have to stay away from SJ's goal totals. But the BJ's really will blow in this game.

Min @ CAL
Kiprusoff is out, and Calgary will be more easily roped in by the opposition. High off a much-needed win against against NSH on Saturday, I expect the Wild to overcome their recent slump and their poor recent record versus CAL, alond with a 4g otr slump. They will lift a hind leg, and douse the Flames.
Now, the Wild have scored just 5 goals in the past four games! But I expect that to change versus a knee-wobbling Flames team without their star goaltender - Kiprusoff had a 1.77avg vs. the Wild. With him sidelined, coupled with the Flames allowing 20 goals at home in 5 games...well, it invokes a pavlovian response in me, and hopefully the Wild as well.
I also think MIN might return to shutdown mode. Backstrom sports a 2.00 GAA and a .926 S%. And the Wild's 85% PK is good enough to stall a 25% PP from the Flames. And the Flames have a slew of good forwards missing to injury.
