Amount of Season Wins vs. Amount of Points - WHAT IS BETTER?

Hey! My Bookie (Betsafe) has now put out a line on these types of bets:

"Amount of wins in the regular NHL season for team xx"

and

"Amount of points will team xx in the regular NHL season earn"

Can anyone help me: What is better to be betting on?

Here is the teams that i like to have a great season, therefore i will bet the OVER on the lines being given, so tell me what is better:

NHL - 2013 : Number of Regular Season Wins
Colorado Avalanche to win over 24.5 @ -110

VS:

NHL - 2013 : Total Regular Season Points

How many points will the specifed team earn?

Colorado Avalanche to earn Over 52.5 points.

So, what is the better pick here, over 24,5 wins or over 52.5 points?

Anaheim Ducks Over 53.5

NHL - 2013 : Number of Regular Season Wins

Anaheim Ducks Over 22.5

Toronto Maple Leafs Over 19.5

So can any1 tell me; what is better: To place money on Number of Regular Season wins - or on points earned in the season?

Im not quiet sure if overtime counts in here, but im pretty sure it does (as wins) i asked Betsafe and they wasnt sure about this but they will contact me later to tell me if OT counts or not. But lets say they do. What is better; wins or points?

OT should count towards a win (if that team wins in OT). If for some ungodly reason your book doesn't count OT as a win, then don't touch it.

Points is the better bet in my opinion. A team can still lose a game in OT and muster a point out of it.

I would split my bet evenly between the two. I&#x27;d hate to get screwed by a couple of Shootout losses / wins.

If you are taking UNDERS, take the wins. Harder to get a win than a point. Some teams lose 10 &#x2B; games in OT, get 10 points but zero wins.

Ok, betsafe returned, and they said that OT wins counts in (which is pretty obvious isnt it).

So you say: Take the points if you are going to bet OVER, take the wins if you are going to bet UNDER, right?
