The same guys who gave Parise 13 years and Seguin got 6 years. I know Fehr gets heat and rightfully so. But those freaking arrogant owners now want to be saved from themselves. The same guy who gives Parise 13 years thinks 5 years should be the max.

I wrote it months ago on here Donald Fehr will always win. If i'm the playesr i decertify the union and file an antitrust lawsuit. The owners don't want to play fair. So kill them in court. Just my 2 cents

Thank you, not just Parise look at just the contract that were signed after this season it is just retarded to try and tell me you are worried about length of contracts.  I would disagree that either of these fu#ktards are winners in this.

ben i agree i just have said that Fehr always gets what he wants. I know i'm a big baseball fan i've lived it. If the owners want to make more money move these teams where the real hockey/sports fans are. Bring a team back to quebec. Bring a 2nd team to toronto. Put a team in Seattle etc.

Hell Mr.Ilitch here in Detroit just got legislation passed for a new 550 million dollar arena built in downtown Detroit for the Wings. And yet the owners are hurting. Now i know Detroit is a big market NHL team but still man

This is about taking players leverage away in future contracts, is Minny didn't up the ante in the form of term for Parise they wouldn't have been able to sign him.

Escrow means that they never were going to get 100% of their contracts from the start. That argument makes me laugh every time.
