#31 Posted: 5/8/2012 12:12:49 AM Well it's not only that they won, but the fashion in which they won. Vancouver, Nashville, St Louis, many more....all dominated. It's one thing when a team who wasn't as good in the regular season wins, but when they sweep or win 4-1, then it means the regular season didn't mean anything. |

#32 Posted: 5/8/2012 12:16:01 AM Kings and Phoenix played close, tight games all season... Playoff type hockey.... But they have the best of the goaltending which makes it possible for either of the two to win the Cup.... |

#34 Posted: 5/8/2012 12:19:36 AM getting outshot by a 2 to 1 margin every game will catch up with the coyotes eventually. can't win the cup like that. they have been fortunate to score on the minimal chances. |

Really? Because Elliot was first in GAA, save %, and 2nd in shutouts. Rinne was 1st in wins. |

#37 Posted: 5/8/2012 12:24:34 AM as much as it must be fun for the fans of the teams that will play for the western conference title, blowouts are no fun for a neutral hockey fan, i wanna see battles, instead in the west it's been nothing but landslides. |

#42 Posted: 5/8/2012 12:28:48 AM I'm not a Wings fan. I'm a fan of compelling and competitive play in any sport. To watch an 8 seed trample through teams makes me wonder what in the hell was going on during the regular season. I don't really know what other sport that the lowest seed would just dominate in the first two rounds of the playoffs. Maybe win, yes, but not embarrass the "best" teams in the regular season. |

For one Kings played good since Carter trade and been in playoff mode more than a month just to get in. |

#45 Posted: 5/8/2012 12:34:04 AM it amazes when teams all of a sudden find motivation in the last 5 minutes of a game, why sit back all game long |

If you don't know why the Kings, as a 8 seeds, have done as well as they have in the playoffs... Then you just don't know... Period. |
