#33 Posted: 3/11/2012 3:32:57 AM Hardcore Canucks fan here.. - Luongo is a below average goalie.. Yes he friggin sucks.. I'm so sick of his garbage man.. I don't care what announcers, other people, or forums say.. This guy sucks.. He is slow as hell.. he is done he will never be a good goalie again just like Tiger Woods won't be Tiger Woods ever again.. Sometimes people just lose their drive to compete and they can't keep up with the times and I think this is what is happening.. Hes getting older its only gonna get worse.. Schneider is a friggin stud I will hate to see this guy go in the offseason.. I pray that there is a miracle that we keep him around.. Luongos numbers are only good due to the team and the defense around him.. He is inconsistent lets in soft goals and the only reason he wins is the team.. The team is fuckin awesome.. We can make a deep run in the playoffs say what you want about our little slump but all your guys' teams are probably struggling to make the playoffs unless your a STL, DET, or NYR fan..
Schneider will be in net by round 2 for sure and win the cup for the Nucks..! If Loo somehow rips it up and we win the cup all will be forgiven.. Until then darn you Loo! |

#38 Posted: 3/11/2012 1:57:41 PM This years Canucks team is WAY different than last year. They aren't as high scoring as last season. What the darn are Kesler and the Sedins doing? Schneider should be there goalie if they even want to have a chance to win the Cup. Luongo will get you guys no where. MAYBE if Sedins and Kesler were getting some goals you could even out the shitty goaltending with high scoring but not gonna happen

#41 Posted: 3/12/2012 12:27:40 AM I'm going to win the Cup this June! Even if Schneids plays and I gotta warm that bench, we're winning baby!

#46 Posted: 3/12/2012 12:47:38 AM I have my doubts about Luongo's ability to lead the Canucks to the Cup. I don't think he is the goalie he once was, but in my opinion, he's still a decent goalie whose stats benefit significantly from playing on a good team. I'm not a Luongo apologist. I'm not even particularly a big fan of his, but as long as he plays for the Canucks, I'll cheer him on and hope like hell he can rise to the occasion. He's slumping now, as is the whole team, but I hope he can go on one of those dominant runs he's famous for once the playoffs roll around. But if Luongo goes down with a season-ending injury, I probably wouldn't be too upset when the backup is Schneider.

#48 Posted: 3/12/2012 12:52:15 AM That was the greatest game 7 playoff game ever! I will always remember when they showed the players shaking on the bench from nervous energy late in the game. Crawford was AMAZING, and most people expected him to be that good this year. Had Chicago won in OT, Vigneault would have been axed, there would have been riots, but not like the one in the Final. Burrows' goal was worth so many millions of dollars in ticket revenue for the next 10 playoff games that followed. |

He chocked so bad in that one. I remember how he even cried in front of the media after the game.
Luongo played one of his best games ever in Chicago here:
