Refs deciding games in SPORTS...Say it aint so!

With todays technologies this should never happen...but for some mysterious reason it does.

TWO EXAMPLES OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD

1- Bills Stevie Johnson catching a ball on third down and Video shows a clear catch...Refs comes back from booth and says..NO CATCH

2- Green Bay packer Player in playoff against Giants ( I think Giants ) CLEARLY fumbles ball....Refs come back from booth and says... Player was down before the fumble occured???

Sean I didn&#x27;t even see the goal yet. I just mean in general this year. I can&#x27;t recall a yr this bad. From 5 min majors being rescinded post gm, to phantom goalie interference calls, 3gm suspensions for some head shots, none for others then 5 gm suspensions for clipping while identical clipping plays go unpunished. 5 for clipping 3 for head shots? Just not their best yr. Brutal call on the CLB/LA gm with the clock malfunction. And so on.

Goal looked good.  Volchenkov up to his old tricks with his bs pushing people into his own goalie for interference calls. weak ass shit and the devils lose in a shootout they would have lost in last night anyways so all is good.

&#xD;&#xA;watch the replay man, the puck doesn&#x27;t even begin to change it&#x27;s trajectory till the stick is waist high..... the stick was originially high but when it makes contact with the puck it is low.

The puck is at Berglund's shoulders when he goes to tip it. He is 6'4" and with skates about 6'7". The crossbar is 4' off the ground. Meaning the puck is a foot and a half above the crossbar when he attempts to redirect it.

The easiest way to know that he tipped it above the crossbar is to watch Hedberg. When he goes to make the save he lunges upward with his left shoulder to make the stop. Then the puck bounces between his feet. If the puck was at his waist why would he thrust his shoulder upward to make a save?

For all of you that state he tipped it at waist level I ask you this, how did the puck magically go from shoulder height to waist height?

Simple physics people.

Did you see the Blues feed last night, they had a very clear look at it.... It really wasn&#x27;t close at all.... hence why it didn&#x27;t take that long to review.

Looks like he tipped it at waist height from that replay.  Stick started at shoulder height and he contacted puck a lot lower than that,  Can see how people would argue this one...I guess when I saw no goalie interference the other night...was in disbelief that others saw it otherwise.  Still dont see the Gaborik play any other way.  This one looks like a marginal goal to me...and if they called it good on the ice...there is absolutely no way they could reverse it from the angles they showed.

"The goal is dissallowed because Hedberg was lunging upward trying to stop the puck." Besides it isn&#x27;t like Hedberg is a huge goalie.... if he jumps up and he catches him in the crest that is still cross bar high or lower.

How could they say it was a good goal???
