Refs deciding games in SPORTS...Say it aint so!
With todays technologies this should never happen...but for some mysterious reason it does.
TWO EXAMPLES OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD
1- Bills Stevie Johnson catching a ball on third down and Video shows a clear catch...Refs comes back from booth and says..NO CATCH
2- Green Bay packer Player in playoff against Giants ( I think Giants ) CLEARLY fumbles ball....Refs come back from booth and says... Player was down before the fumble occured???

watch the replay man, the puck doesn't even begin to change it's trajectory till the stick is waist high..... the stick was originially high but when it makes contact with the puck it is low.

I saw it on the St. Louis feed.... they slowed it down.... the puck was not that high coming in..... when Berglund hit the puck with the shaft of his stick his stick was waist high.... there are alot of bad calls on any given night.... the penalty on Backes, the goalie interference on Peverely on Weds night..... this was just not one of them..... that was the correct call

I did watch the clip from the link you have above and if you tell me that you can defintley tell where the puck hit his stick from that clip then you sir are full of shit.... that is too grainy and crappy of a video shot to be sure of anything....berglund stick was above his head because he was chopping down at the puck..... Did you see the Blues feed last night, they had a very clear look at it.... It really wasn't close at all.... hence why it didn't take that long to review.

he was probably trying to look around or get Berglund's stick confused with the puck, who knows..... if that is what your argument has come down too then it should be a good call..... "The goal is dissallowed because Hedberg was lunging upward trying to stop the puck." Besides it isn't like Hedberg is a huge goalie.... if he jumps up and he catches him in the crest that is still cross bar high or lower.
