So im thinking if Spezza is going to be taking the opening faceoff in the game in front of the home town crowd, he will prob be allowed to win the faceoff unchallanged as a nice gesture ?? Worth taking team alfie to win the opening faceoff ??

 

anybody know what the lines are for this game yet ? maybe im just over thinking it

I was about to post an opening face off prob bet...my gut tells me alfie... Just looking up all face off stats for each team... And alfie looks right.

yea, i think the only way i like this bet is if one of the sens is taking the faceoff, i think they will let a sen win the opening faceoff out of respect

why would it be better to just take a side or total than try to have some sort of strategy ?

Are we taking about the faceoff before the actual game when some kid drops the puck and shakes the players' hands afterward? Cause yeah I'm sure they will let Alfie win that one.

Yeah, as sad as it is to say, I can't even watch the ASG unless I have action on it. It's not really hockey...just a skating and passing exhibition. No defense, no goaltending. When I was a kid, I used to love the ASG...those were the days, wasn't it? I am so corrupted. So I just threw a few degen half-unit bets on the following:

Who wins the opening faceoff? Team Chara  -104

Who will get more points - Datsyuk vs Spezza? Datsyuk -108

Who will get more points - Malkin vs Stamkos? Stamkos +111

Who will get more points - Seguin vs Tavares? Tavares -106

Seriously man? Strategy for the NHL All Star game? This game is the biggest joke of all the all star games in professional sports. There is no strategy involved except for hoping a degenerate bet cashes. Either way good luck with what you play.
