I figured I'd start this thread cuz - I know that Nashville really doesn't have any fans but.. All the Canuck haters out there will jump on board for the preds.. Won't they? Cuz there are a lot of Canuck haters..

So what are going to be key matchups.. Who's shutting down the Kesler/Sedin lines...? Fiddler? TooToo?

i hope this series goes seven. preds / canucks are always a pretty good match up.

Nick Spaling and Matt Halischuk.. Talk about a big task.. They will prob play their 1 and 2 lines head to head I'm guessing.. And count on their D and Goaltending to get them through..

i'm a preds fan.  

I think if I wasn't a Canuck fan I'd want to be a Preds fan..

given the way these 2 got in.. (preds first series win, canucks finally beat hawks) I'm sure both are just glad to be here lol..

I will agree with boomersooner. for a "non-traditional southern market" Nashville really supports "The Magnificent Predlies". almost every game I watched this season looked like a sellout or close to it. in fact, I saw less people in "The Joe" for most Red Wings games most of the season than at Nashville (probably the economy in Detroit). definately better than other "southern markets" like Dallas, Atlanta, Florida and, of course, Phoenix

AND Nashville has the BEST "between periods" entertainment of ANY arena esp IF you are a country music fan. have top country entertainers like Carrie Underwood (Mrs Mike Fisher) and Vince Gill (a HUGE Preds fan) performing every game. wonder IF, with the Preds playing a Canadian team next round, IF "Stompin' Tom" Conners will perform?

i'll add steve sullivan is a thorn in the nucks side in years past.
this guy might be the most underated player in the nhl
not many ppl know this guy since he has battling injury for a very long time.
if he did play consistently he could be likened to say gilmour, gary roberts, larmer..just a talented scorer and extremely hard working, hard nosed guy.
fisher i guess would be the #2 guy with erat ailing. tough guy tootoo has been working hard too.
the puzzling thing to me is van is a -275/ +225 series winner which is higher than the price on the hawks which at many times was -220
van proved its depth last night - 4th line nucks had as many if not more than 1 and 2 unit of chi's
depth on lines huge edge van
rinne has been a big pain to the nucks- though he did look avg vs the ducks so to me edge nsv. cuz he has been the reason for their 2 wins this year.
key to a van win is- get in front of the net and pot the rebounds that rinne is bound to stop the first shot.
key to nsv win. reffing from bettman haha - well maybe not far off.
sullivan like i said has to stay away from injury and become that gilmour type of guy for nsv to win and get rinne back into form
if the price is right i might venture nsv g1. prolly a split in vancouver
and the under would be a good play as well

funny thing about information. i look for locals take on angles to sometimes make my mind up on a play and tail. if someone knows about their school in college hoops for example - appalachian st vs whoever, - i will trust that guys info.

gms 4 and 5 last series had my head shaking - ' who are these imposters!'
as above taking chalk too high but nashville has no depth past the 2nd line.
last game do ur homework. van's 4th line had more chances than chi's 1 and 2 lines.
without looking at nash's roster name me 2 forwards on the 3rd line?
exactly - they have zero depth.
rinne won them the 2 games ty.
just trying to help out. i might venture nash 1gm but i would not touch your money to take them in the series
