Ottawa - I know I know.. Ottawa.. Don't think I've bet on them all season.. Well here is a lean to start.. Boston off a 6-3 win in NYI now travelling to the capital to face a nothing team.. At first glance you say 'ottawa is trading their players thats not good'.. I'm going with the theory that change is good tomorrow.. I can see them getting up for this game..
St. Louis - They are only 9 points back from a playoff spot with a few games in hand on other teams.. They've got to believe they have a chance.. Buffalo off a 2-1 loss to toronto and they've been playing well recently.. I think St. Louis is faster and more physical and might have the edge in this one..
Minnesota - Anaheim played a (?) number of games on road trip and came back for one game against the caps.. Now they're back on the road to take on a very underrated MIN team.. The books just don't give them the respect they deserve.. Home edge, rested team vs spent team.. I'll give ANA credit cuz they've been playing good.. But goaltending is a question mark right now..
Columbus - They are 2 points back from Chicago.. A win would tie them with CHI and move them closer to a playoff spot.. There is NO DOUBT these guys will want this game! Not gonna say that Coach Q's sickness is a distraction, but CHI may not be ready mentally for what's coming at them tomorrow..
A lot of dog play leans here I realize a lot of ppl won't agree and I wanna hear what ya got to say! Feedback welcome! Cheers.
PS - these are leans not a lot of research just a bit and mostly off the top of my head and situational..

gotta believe the blackhawks are going to make a run to get into the playoffs. As the defending champs, they are far too talented to miss out on playoffs. I think they will be equally as pumped if not more then columbus.

I dunno man.. You think a team that won the cup the previous year is more pumped to get into the playoffs than a team that hasn't even been to the playoffs in how long? (can't remember in recent years if they have if not at all).. I think the team that hasn't been there wants to be there more.. CHI has a lot of talent so for CLB to tie with them would be a huge achievement for CLB..

Ottawa? Maybe..Trades made Leafs play better,,Why not Sens..lol
Blues..Am looking at em serious.
Wild, well there not playing that shit hot(last few). With possibly there 2 best players being out will be tough for wild to score. Even if one or both play, there banged up.

as you saw in my thread i will probably be against you on your ottawa lean. i honestly don't know enough about st.louis and i am staying away from the sabres. for some reason i pick them to win and they lose and vice versa, they are just one of those teams for me that i can't figure out. minny/anaheim are two teams i liked to bet while they were not getting the respect they deserve but now they are playing each other and i am torn. you make a good point about anaheim's schedule and that might be the difference but i will probably stay away from that game myself. lastly, i would lean chicago. i think they have to make their run soon, although it should be a hard fought game and i'm sure you can get a nice value on columbus these are just opinions from the top of my head with no research involved. good luck in whatever you decide!

I know they aren''t going on another long trip.. But to get back from a long trip.. Only to head out again? I dunno for me personally that would be unsettling! I don't want to exagerate that point but it could play a factor all im saying..

How did this threads format get fucked up,,lol
I hear ya and maybe your right. However, you got 2 teams needing points badly. I will stick with the better team.

I took a look at what your talking about.
The games Ducks played where all on west coast, not much traveling
The games where very spread out. So, fatigue won't be a issue.
I think it was a pretty soft road trip. In the ducks didnt use to much.ood gas and came up with good results.
Of course they(ducks) had a reason to suck first game back at home.after road trip.. I took Caps in that one.

way off base. ottawa is outgunned. who is playing in net? halak is hurt. maybe if columus was home- chicagp just starting their playoff push. there are better dogs.

Do not bet on Ottawa. I live here and follow all of the games and they are pitiful. Boston sat Thomas last night in order to play him tonight in Ottawa. Boston looked real good yesterday against the islanders. Looks like Campoli and Gonchar may be out.
