Play of the Year: Flames -104Regulation ML (I don't want any part of this game if it goes to OT) Why? The Avs are on a huge slide here (0-7-1) last 8 and I expect it to continue. Forsberg just blindsided everyone by retiring today and NOONE expected this. The fans will be disappointed as they were all expecting to see him play his first home game back. The players on the team didn't expect this at all. Adam Foote said he talked with Forsberg on the plane home and not once did Forsberg hint of retiring. The Avs organization and players were expecting Forsberg to be their "saviour" and I can't help but think the team and fans will be very deflated after watching him retire on the day of a home game. He even said his foot isn't the problem so one has to think Forsberg feels he can't help this lost team and win games for them (0-2, both road games) with him in the lineup.
The Flames also own the Avs and are 4-1 in the last 5 meetings.
All this points to a Flames win and I will gladly bite laying almost even money.

BOL to you all.
I like it! Both in a 3 in 4 situation and why not take the better team - Flames. Some say its a muffed line or a book reverse/reverse/reverse or "Av's are due" or whatever some on call it...
Flames scored 3 or more in 9 of L-10 and Av's allowed 3 or more in 10 of L-10.

After watching the Forsberg press conference I wouldn't be so quick to paint the club as blue. It wasn't as if he came flying in with great bravado promising to resurrect the team and seemed quite sincere while talking to the press even apologizing for being selfish. Players like Adam Foote can use this as a source of inspiration to inspire the team. Calgary has been so hot and Colorado so cold, I think the tide turns tonight and Colorado pulls out the home win!
that being said I wish Colorado had a bit more value.
Good luck with your picks Kyle Cumiskey lived down the street from me...hope he can stay healthy.

if this a GOY brother take the ml incase it does go into a SO....at least your cash still has a chance for a OT goal or even a win in a SO, keep in mind until the flames lost in SO against Ana....at that time Flames where ranked...believe it or not #1 in SO in the league...
Also I too thought Forsberg was gonna be there lift in scoring and motivation
