Carolina however picked up some confidence on the road outhustling the Capitals. They have a better chance than the +159 offered to pick up their 3rd road victory. The Rangers have lost 10 of their last 12 home games.
Vancouver money line incl. ot +117 - The Canucks rallied back on New Year's eve from a 3 goal deficit to the Blues to pick up the victory in overtime. Dallas meanwhile has won 2 in a row scoring 5 goals in each game, but the opponent has also scored 3, 4, and 4 goals in the Stars latest games. The Canucks have allowed only 1.60 goals in their last 5 games. Vancouver has won 6 of the last 11 meetings. The Stars' 5 wins against the Canucks during these meetings have all been by 1 goal. In Atlanta's last 5 games, they have allowed 4.20 goals The Islanders have defeated Atlanta 6:3 in New York in November and 4:1 in Atlanta early in December.
Phoenix - Detroit under 5 +111 - The Coyotes 10 game winning streak at home came to an end New Year's Eve as the red hot Sharks picked up a 3:2 shootout over Phoenix once again. Detroit meanwhile shaked a slump winning 4:2 over the Avalanche. The Red Wings are averaging only 1.20 goals per game in their last 5 while Phoenix is averaging 2.60 goals. Detroit is allowing 2 goals per game and Phoenix is allowing 1.60 goals against during their last 5 as well. I can't see either team hitting 4 goals.
Chicago reg. -0.5 +108- The Blackhawks obliterated New Jersey 5:1 on New Year's Eve while the Blues continued their poor play by blowing a 3:0 lead to Vancouver, eventually bowing to the Canucks in overtime. The Blackhawks are averaging 4 goals for and 2.20 goals against in their last 5 while St. Louis is allowing 3.60 goals against. At home, the Blues are allowing 3.18 goals per game while the Blackhawks have been stellar defensively on the road allowing only 1.76 goals per game. Chicago won 3:0 in the only meeting this season.
