DNC use to stand for " Don't nock Clinton " ( I know, but, the left misspells things all the time )
Now it is
"Dithering Nuancing Communist"

November 11-10 (+0.17); 4-4 sides (+0.09), 7-5 totals (+1.08), 0-1 puck line (-1)
December 18-12 (+15.12); 4-5 sides w/ ot (+1.06); 1-1 sides reg. (+0.00); 7-2 totals (+4.88); 4-3 overtime (+9.18)
Kicked a minor slump last night by going 5-1 (Phoenix +145, Montreal -102, Pittsburgh -105, Edmonton - Nashville over 5.5 +105, Calgary - Los Angeles under 5.5 -118, San Jose -0.5 -128) winning 4.48.
New Jersey reg. -0.5 -101
- The most consistent team all season and winners in 9 of their last
11. The Devils are averaging 3 goals per game and only 1.60 goals
against in their last 5. Ottawa finds themselves tied for 6th in points
in the East, but a majority of those were gathered at home. On the
road, Ottawa is averaging 2.29 goals for and 3.29 goals against. New
Jersey has won the last 8 meetings. New Jersey has won both meetings
this year 3:1 and 3:2 in regulation. In the Devils 12 wins at home,
only once have they failed to win in regulation.
Florida reg. -0.5 +124
- The Hurricanes are 1-12-4 on the road. Their lone win came 2 weeks
ago at Pittsburgh. On the road they average 1.82 goals for and a
whopping 3.71 goals against. Of course, Carolina will probably go on
some streak this season as most teams do, but until then they should be
avoided. That leaves Florida who has won 3 of their last 4 games,
scoring 17 goals. Their loss was a b2b in overtime at Pittsburgh.
Buffalo reg. -0.5 -107
- I thought about the Buffalo team total over 3 -115 but this seems the
better choice. Toronto hasn't had much success against the Sabres
recently, dropping 8 of the last 9 meetings. Toronto is allowing 3.82
goals on the road while Buffalo is allowing only 2.11 goals at home. In
Toronto's last game, the low scoring Coyotes put 5 past Toskala.
Buffalo hasn't gone to overtime in their last 13 games and on the
season has only seen overtime in 5 of their 32 games.
Vancouver reg. money line -115
- Vancouver hasn't lost 2 games in a row at home all season. They are
4-0 in this situation responding with 7:1, 3:0, 4:1, and 4:2 victories.
Vancouver plays great hockey at home scoring 3.44 goals while allowing
only 2.06. Washington on the road averages nearly the same amount as
goals as Vancouver, but is allowing 2.74 goals against. The Capitals
are a long way from Washington, so I'll have to side with the home
crowd and stable goalie.
