4-2 yesterday, that's two of those in a row.

First of all I want to say, why in the hell would anyone put a wager on the Leafs/Canes game ???  Ok, that's all

Buffalo 1st period -120
Florida ov 2.5 -133
Dallas -.5 +105
Avs un 5.5 -125

Liked the Devils tonight, but don't like Danis.  Philly has been off for 3 days, so I'm looking at Buffalo having a better shot at winning the 1st period than the whole game. My usual Dallas in regulation line, if the Stars can't win in regulation, then you have almost no chance of them winning in OT.  The Hawks and Avs are just under machines as of late.

So you know what that means.

Fading Dallas against Van.  After the Bruins tied up Monty late in the 3rd on a weak intentional offsides Linesman call against the Habs, to get their first goal after 100 shots over 3 games, they then fell in OT on some pathetic shoot-out attempts.  Nothing like failing to get the puck on net on a shootout attempt.  Have to say I was surprised to learn that the Habs are now 7-0 in OT.  I see you mentioned that Dallas is weak in OT, with 6 OTL's vs. Van's 0 OTL's.  So I will feel good if the game goes into OT, for whatever that's worth.

I'm a bit perplexed on your -.5 bet/odds.  If games do not end in ties anymore, what's the point of a minus half-a-goal?  If the money line is -155, and the -.5 is +105, it seems smart to take the -.5.  Why then does the Book offer that line, as I don't see how the -.5 can lose, while the money line wins?

Dal totally dominating, even if the refs gave 'em that one to make it 2-1

"First of all I want to say, why in the hell would anyone put a wager on the Leafs/Canes game ???"

Because Canes were missing some of their top scorers, hadn't won in 10 games. Leafs had lost in OT or SO in their last 5...a couple against respectable teams and was very hungry for a win. This was my game of the night, cashed in. Saying that, I vow right now that I will not bet on the Maple Laughs to win anymore this year.
