#13 Posted: 10/26/2009 9:23:40 AM You Canuck fans hide in your black hole when ur team is not doing so well, but the minute they win a game or two or 3, you all come out in flocks and make theards like this. You Canuck fans are "Toronto Lite." Your team will make the post-season but probably won't leave the 2nd round. |

#14 Posted: 10/26/2009 9:25:49 AM Cam Ward is better than Luongo and Brodeur....and I'm a Devils fan.
In fact, I would leave both Fatso and Luongo at home. |

#16 Posted: 10/26/2009 9:41:44 AM ...guru, you have made a bold assertion... not sure I agree, but Ward deserves consideration.
Clepto, I hope you can keep it clean and relevant this season - wouldn't you rather have your voice heard without the homer filter?? |

#18 Posted: 10/26/2009 11:00:20 AM Cam Ward is a big game goalie....Fatso has shown in the last 3 playoffs that he is a step behind and cannot steal games like he used to.
Luongo is a classic choke artist himself. Obviously I'm not saying these two guys are bad....they are good goalies.
But I'd take Ward and probably another youngster and put one of those two on the team for leadership. |

#19 Posted: 10/26/2009 11:28:53 AM Ya because the Edmonton Oiler's effort yesterday night is clearly a good indication of what Canada is gonna face in 2010. Here's a deal Clepto, he gets to play against Norway and nobody else. But, seriously, glad he was able to get this shutout. Might remind him that he can be this good more often and help out the team climb up that tough division.

#20 Posted: 10/26/2009 11:30:48 AM I see - he may have a place, but Brodeur has been there/done that and deserves a spot unless there has been a serious diminishment of his skills, which there haven't been IMO |

#21 Posted: 10/26/2009 11:31:10 AM Ward & Fleury should be the netminders but Canda will choose Brodeur & Luongo on IMO. |

#22 Posted: 10/26/2009 11:32:48 AM I meant Ward may deserve a spot.. Eli, Luo is a slow starter. All that really matters is how he plays for the bulk of the reg and playoffs. You really cannot hold a slow start against a goalie in the grand scheme of things IMO |

#23 Posted: 10/26/2009 11:35:33 AM Fleury hasn't proven himself to be among the top 3 Canadian goalies in service IMO - he was certainly not the reason the Pens won the Cup or even a key reason... having said that he is developing well and may get there eventually |

#24 Posted: 10/26/2009 11:36:44 AM Happy, Luongo is notoriously a slow starter, but he's also been far below average in the playoffs.
Brodeur gets the nod over Luongo IMO.
But I think Ward should start. He thrives in pressure filled situations, even if his reg. season stats aren't as good. |

#25 Posted: 10/26/2009 11:36:57 AM Mason and Leclaire are the equals of Fleury, albeit without the big game experience. |
