Little concerned with the 'Nucks over. The interesting one is the Caps game. Most people haven't even noticed that this year the Preds are actually rushing down the ice. This long time one way team is actually playing two ways not.

Lippsman, There's no doubt in my mind that you know hockey much better than I do. However, let it be said that Nashville will not continue their current play. They only play defense for the first two periods it seems. Secondly, I find it hard to believe that they can continue to score the way they have thus far in the young season. Does that mean they won't surprise many and make the playoffs? Not necessarily, but not while continuing to play the way they have. But then again, they have surprised more than myself more than once in the past few years. At some point, they have to figure out how to cleanly finish a game where they have a comfortable lead though on those occasions where it presents itself. As for today's game, I'd take Washington (yes, I know Ovechekin is out) and the OVER though as Nashville hasn't convinced me they can play on the road yet. Good luck to ya though.

After further consideration, I believe that Washington and UNDER 5.5 may the best picks here. Nashville should be focused on playing some defense after their last two fiascoes and while I still can't see them winning, this could easily be a 3-1 game in favor of the Caps. Just my opinion. Good luck.
