Does anyone truley believe USA wont win gold?

Is anyone out there? 06&#x27; was like an All-Star game for these guys, they just ran around shooting. Coach K has them actually running offenses and playing basketball. Talent wise no other team even competes. I mean, LeBron and Kobe instantly makes us the best team, add Chris Paul, Dwayne Wade and Dwight Howard and it isn&#x27;t fair. Lots said Greece and Spain would give up trouble, maybe even beat us, and we managed to win both by 20.

I just woke up and saw the socre.  I suck. I have lost money on 10 straight games including games I went 1-1 on 5 times and lost the juice.  Then I won China thanks to Rod STeel, would have picked Germany if it was just me.&#xD;&#xA;How the hell did US blow out Spain like that?!  Spain is really good.  What the deuce.  I still think US will lose to Lithuania because they do not have the toughness of Kleiza.

i was going to say their pg&#x27;s name but I cannot spell his name.  First name is Sarunas.  LOL.  I have not got to watch team usa yet as they are on while I sleep.  Seems to me you have to slow the game down to a crawl to have any chance against this team. But I assume USA will not shoot so well from 3 again in this tournament.  They may play China in the quarters again.  Give me Yao and Yi and Whang, over Lebron Kobe, and Wade any day.

Leave it to the silly covers forum to start a thread like this. Judging by the bulk of the forums basketball plays so far I&#x27;m guessing most of you know very little about international basketball teams and their players. &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Let me explain this to you- THE GROUP STAGE MEANS NOTHING. In Athens Spain and Lithuania both went 5-0 in the groups and guess what? They both failed to medal. If you don&#x27;t follow international ball you fail to realize that teams play opossum all the time. Spain and Greece didn&#x27;t want to show their hands so they didn&#x27;t play to win in group play. &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I&#x27;m not saying team USA won&#x27;t win gold but they are &lt;50% to beat Australia, Argentina and then Spain. Anyone expecting an easy gold for the US is someone who doesn&#x27;t understand international basketball. I predict the 3 point shooting is what kills them.
