The Lakers impresseed me again even in defeat. Instead of fading away and conceding Game 3 to the energized Jazz (like most 2-0 Game 3 road teams do), the Lakers locked down on defense in the 4th and the Jazz almost panicked themselves into a sticky situation. Anytime I see a team even nearly overcome a very tough situational spot, I take that as a clue that they're really good. Game 4 will be almost impossible to call, but I've had my fill of going against Kobe Bryant. He's like The Devil in gym shorts when you're hoping and praying for the other side. But I'll be hoping and praying anyway on Sunday because my Jazz series bets have just been upgraded to stable condition.

Jazz are just a helluva home team. Only 5 losses this season. Lakers finally got challenged and they failed the test tonight. This Utah victory was no fluke. Lakers kept on coming and Jazz had an answer for each Laker charge. Home sweet home, just ask the Spurs.

I think they have him in the wrong spot and it is hurting the team. They need a better point, he just isnt cutting it, he is a total defensive liability and his creativity at point is not acceptable.
You might not like it, but the fact remains that the Jazz guard play in the playoffs is not good enough.

Couldn't agree more. I also think deron needs to shoot more three pointers when he's open instead of hesitating...he can catch fire from the three point line.

I agree. The Jazz dominated the whole game, then the Lakers almost pulled the heist of the year. You have no idea what I was thinking when I started to feel the "Kobe" effect. Another poster said "don't ever bet against Kobe." I asked why. (thinking it would be something silly) He later said something to the effect of "do you want the Jazz to be up ten or so late and have to deal with Kobe taking over?" By far the best thing I heard prior to the game. The only thing in my mind the last few minutes. That and the Jazz almost pissing the game away for no good reason. I can't bet them again. Their value is gone.
Too close for comfort, yes. Correct call 100% of the time in this spot, yes. Those Jazz bets are DOA. You know it and so do I. There is a downfall when you are an unbiased gambler. You become the last to realize the obvious at times. The Lakers are obviously this good. I now finally believe.
I also heard a mouse saying that the real tough call would be game 4. Your not joking. I've told myself that I'm not touching it. I don't feel I can get any edge out of that game. I don't want to see the line. If I play it, it is Laker ML. It really is that painful to bet against him. The Lakers win a fairly tight game on Sunday. However, no doubt in my mind they pull it out. The best part is that we'll get some line movement in the other direction, imo. Funny, maybe even +150.
