TSW, I could have sworn if you would have give me a sign that you were there and I know you were, I would have go there with ma shirt, but no clue to find you.

What do you mean by "HIS" table? is that a hint that you were with him the whole past weeken? or he already booked his table and told you that?

I hope you had good time there and let's setup another time man... I am trying to find a new side job there since I m so done with what I have right now not bringing me anywhere...

He said he had booked a table for the covers people - I haven't heard from him since the 23rd I think.  Don't know what happened.

takethedog...aka pete? coming in and out of vegas poker rooms and books in between prison terms, he has been con man playing women for many years. I have seen him in the poker room and tables, and he doesn't have the skill to play the levels that he played at.

THANK YOU........

He seemed like a nice guy.  He sent me money western union after he tailed some of my plays and went 6-0

I thought he was being nice since he had so much money he didnt need it.  So I accepted the gift.  Consider me Fooled.....lol

Im surprised he was so nice to me.  Its not like I have any money.  Im 25.......just out of college.   He has my name and phone number.  hope thats not going to be a problem.  Damn....I really liked the guy.   Man I feel dumb.

I woulnt have believed you but you saying "pete" gives you some credibility.......

it is all part of his hustle, the more money he flashed(which wasn't his to start with) gives him credabilty when he asks you for cash or has a scheme for you to make money. I don't know how much info you gave him but if you gave him alot keep an eye on your identity and maybe put a fraud alert on your credit report if by chance he does know your personal informayion.

I wouldn't panic yet, I would just moniter your credit report, sign up for one of those monitoring services. from what you wrote earlier that you were just out of college and not to wealthy he probably had another person he was targeting here.

OK....Thanks a lot man.  I appreciate the help.  I guess I need to be more careful from now on.  I guess Im just too nice of a guy.  Man my roomates and friends are going to laugh when I tell them this story.   lol        They told me something didnt seem right.

If you didnt come on here and tell me who knows what kind of trouble I might have gotton myself in.  Either way he was nice to me so I dont have any hard feeling towards him but I will no longer pick up his calls if he ever does call me again.  Which I dont think he will.  He found out I had no real money and moved on I guess.

I did look it up and Ill leave it at that.  Thanks again.  You did your good deed for the week.

you are safe, western union only shares that info with the Feds, I have seen him ply his trade for over a decade and no insult intended, but I really don't think you were targeted. But with the knowledge you have gained tonight from NYDOC and me you can now put a reason on his disappearance from these boards and move on

OK...............

THANK YOU...........THANK YOU........

No insult taken.....none at all.  I just cant believe he sent me money.  Twice to be exact.  I put a 1,000 on a game when I was down and he told me to double it and if I lost he would cover the extra 1100.  I lost and he western unioned the money.  He said he didnt care he was rich.  So I believed him and took it.  If he wasnt targeting me I dont know who he was targeting thats for sure.

I was trying to figure out what to do.  I was about to call the old man and ask him how to protect my garbage.  He good with things like that.  Part of his line of work kid of.  I just didnt want to tell him unless I had to.

I will use this as a learning experience and try and move on.  I will check my garbage though.  Im not sure what people need to steal your identity but I sure as darn dont want to lose mine.  I dont have the best life in the world but God Damn it its my life, I want to keep it.   lol

Thanks again.  I thought something was up when Bator hinted to me ........."things arent always what they seem".

Thats when I first thoght something was up.  Man I feel like a dumb behind
