The Plays:
Nets +6.5 and Nets ML
- First physical game of Gasol as a Laker on the road. We don't know yet if he knows the triangle already and chemistry will test this Lakers team. As for the Nets, the only way Kidd will be traded is if he will show his best games starting now until the allstar break so the other teams will see him more of an asset because of his skills and not a liability due to his age. The score between these 2 teams haven't been decided by more than 6 points in the last 8 meetings.
Pacers +5 and Pacers ML
- Spurs did win against the Suns but that doesn't mean they're that good again. It's still the 1st half of the season and it's still a good time to fade them. Stoudamire is now in the team and you expect him to run the Spurs offense? I don't know about that.I know he's a veteran but he still doesn't know how to play the offense of his team. As for Indy, they're riding a 6 game losing streak and are desperate for a win. They had a lot of chances to win those games that they lost but always fell short. I just hope they're offense will overcome the Spurs in the 1st half and build an early lead since Spurs suck in 1st halves.
Philly ML
- Wiz got butler back in a lost while Philly lost a game after leading by 18pts at the end of 1st qtr. Philly have better rebounders compared to Wiz so i expect them to dominate the boards considering Wiz is a jump shooting team. I don't know how to make a writeup on this pick but all i can say is Philly plays better when not having a rest going 9-4 ats. It's a start of a long homestand for them so im hoping they'll win their first game back.
* The reason why i'm playing the dogs is because the home teams were massacred last night. I'll let these dogs get some revenge and bite on the road teams.
