Anyone else hoping he falls to the Kings at #5?  I don't think it happens, but I would love to see his loudmouth father exiled to the worst NBA city...

He's going #2 to LA unless LA trades down.

Love JJ's athleticism as he's great at both ends of the court and feel he's the best prospect in the draft. But Lakers already got Randle and Ingram at the forward spots but don't have a PG so they're taking Ball for sure.

Russell is a better SG than PG. He was way more effective when he was moved to SG late in the season, even dropping season high 40 pts in a game along with couple 28 pt games.

Ball will be an elite PG with 10+ assist per game, which shoot first Russell will never achieve.

Hope they don't ship Russell. He's a potential 25ppg scoring threat at SG once Ball starts dishing him the ball.

Lakers no longer interested in Ball.

I can see Lakers trading the #2 pick for both of the Kings picks...

Personally, I don't see Magic bringing in Ball and tarnishing the Laker brand...no way Magic would want to share the spotlight that much.

You people are worst than LaVar Ball. Sure, he's an a$$clown but wishing ill will on someone for being a clown is insane. I get the whole, "he's bad for basketball" narrative, blah blah, blah but at the end of the day he's clearly a present and supportive father to his kids. There's a lot of NBA players who never had such a thing. And Lonzo seems to be a good and respectful kid yet you people want the worst for him as well. At the end of the day, he will be drafted high and make millions and you people will still be internet trolls.

That could mean good news for Kentucky point guard De'Aaron Fox, who solidly outplayed Ball in two matchups last season.

Lakers president of basketball operations Magic Johnson and general manager Rob Pelinka among others in the organization's brain trust were in attendance for Fox's pro day Saturday.

Johnson was also in Memphis in March, where he saw firsthand Fox score an NCAA Tournament record 39 points in a win over Ball and UCLA.
