I have a feeling that the Pelicans (1 of 2 remaining winless teams) finally pick up a W tonight.
Yes I know there are a few things going against them. They lost a surprisingly close game in Oracle last night. Steph needed a historic night to carry them.
So will there be a hangover from last nights demoralizing loss? Maybe. But I think that the Pelicans aren't actually as bad as you think.
In their past 4 games they:
- Lost to the Bucks by 4 points
- Lost to the Grizz in OT
- Lost to the Suns in OT
- Lost to the Warriors by 10 (the game came down to the wire).
Davis has been putting up historic numbers, with nothing to show.
It may sound crazy but Gentry is already playing for his job.
As for the kings, they haven't been anything special this year. They come back home after a 4-game road trip.
If the Pelicans don't win tonight, they could be looking at a 0-10 start.
Call me crazy, but I like the Pelicans + 6 , and +225

Like them as well. Kings coming off a tough east trip that ended with a big win in Toronto.
Basically almost no real travel for the Pels. I think they pick up where they left off last night. 1H might something to consider as well here.
I like Phoenix a lot too. Portland coming off two big wins in Dallas and Memphis, then they head home to play the Suns and on b2b a big showdown against the Clippers in LA. Tonight's gonna be their 3 in 5 and tomorrow, their 4 in 6. Brutal schedule early on here. Suns matchup well with Portland.

Coming off a loss last night against GSW. Theyre already down 4, possibly 5 men. Kings are getting Collison back tonight with a chance of being at full strength.
Going balls deep SAC on this one. Parlaying with LAL for some extra flavor.

Pelicans have only covered the spread twice this year (both GS games)....in their current situation, they are asking way too much of players that should only be playing 6-8 minutes per game max! Until I actually see them win one, I am staying far away from the Pelicans....good luck!
