Is $17,000 supposed to be a lot of money? Is this your way of bragging?
I trade 50x of this amount in the stock market where I don't get suckered into losing 10% of my investment 48% or more of the time.
That 10% really adds up. Stop being a fool and invest your money smarter.

There is no doubt that collusion and fraud exists in the stock market. Unfortunately, collusion and fraud exists in nearly every facet of human life due to human greed. That fact is sadly indisputable.
With that said, had you invested that same 17K in the ETF SPY back in 2009, that same investment (despite all of the inherent corruption) would be worth over 50K today. Thus, a buy an hold investor in a broad spectrum, diverse, low fee holding such as the SPY will do very well over time.
I wasn't trying to impress, just help you out.

It is good to see someone speak some reason on this topic. As for you Gambit, you don't seem to be benefiting from the stock markets, so maybe you should ease up on the cynicism and take some notes. It may be the case that the markets take a big hit on Monday or even next month or next year, but the fact is that the average length to recover from a correction (10%) or bear (20%) in the HISTORY of the markets is just TWO years.
I have made over 80K in the markets over the past two months, and yes Gambit...both gambling and investing should be about making money. It you save some $$$ and invest it, you might not be so cynical.
