Cal, LBJ played the game of his life for 45 minutes (I exclude the last few minutes and OT). How will he duplicate that? And maybe without Irving (or a hobbled one)?!

Beg- to me it's not about James...its on jr,shun pert and the rest of the guys...they just need 1 shooter to show and its game over...gsw was very fortunate all were off..simple as that...warriors didn't do any thing defensively to stop Cleveland..they were just off...cavs win the series.

Lebron had a tremendous game, making majority of his fade aways, still got the L. Not looking good for Cleveland.

Respectfully disagree, Cal. This game reminded me a lot of the Rockets game 2. The Cavs had a great chance to steal one against a rust GS, and failed. Here was my write-up before the series and I'm sticking by it:
Some might say, "if the Cavs with Love and Irving would have a tough time against the Dubs how are they to compete without love and a one-legged Irving?" But Tristan Thompson is (imo) an upgrade over love (at least in terms of rebounding, toughness and defense). Warriors might have trouble with him because Green can't bang with him and LBJ at the same time (this is one are the Cavs can exploit the Dubs).
But I think the biggest key to the series is Irving, if he is not close to 100% (and there is no indication he will be) they are in trouble because the role players will not be able to keep playing at this level (imo). There is a reason they are called role players. If guys like JR and Shumpert get suckered into a shooting contest against Curry and Klay they'll be in big trouble. The Warriors have traditionally given LBJ the outside shot but denied him the paint, and I imagine they'll keep to that game plan. If the Cavs don't dominate the paint, they stand little chance in the series. The x-factor for me is clutchness! Which team has the guy with the balls to take the big shot and make it. Despite LBJ's heroics against the Bulls, the guy with the biggest balls on that team is JR Smith (which should concern Cavs' backers). LBJ is more of a reluctant hero as he prefers the winning pass over the winning shot. Meanwhile, Curry is the man for the Dubs when it comes to taking the big shot and will find the open man if double-teamed.

Cal with all due respect it just seems like you take the Cavs in any game, any situation. Perhaps you need to re-evaluate this team, especially now that Irving most likely will not play.
LBJ can only do so much against this defensive scheme. Until the end he was draining all his shots which is why this game went to OT. If GSW loses the game by Lebron making all his jumpers, I think they can live with that. That is the usual gameplan when it comes to defending him. He's a great player, and to say he had a shitty game yesterday, I dont know if I can agree with you on that. He may of not hit the clutch shot but he had a great game. To me I feel like this was their night to steal one in GS and they lost that opportunity.
We cant assume a shooter like Lebron is going to have great shooting nights every night, it's just not gonna happen. Irving was clearly slowing down Curry and giving him a hard time. Without him in I think Clevelands chances in this series are slim to none.
