I've been denying it for most of this season but I was wrong big time - Warriors are elite this season. I'm not sure whether they'll choke next round against a more formidable team but they have the potential to win conference and finals.
Here's the issue. They know they're good. They love their fans and vice versa. What meaning is there on winning the series 4-0 in New Orleans? None. Pelicans fans are as anemic and lifeless as they come. They could not care less whether their team won or not. So when Warriors thump Pelicans to the ground on the fourth game to win series, it'll be a bittersweet feeling - victory without any joy.
I've seen this happen with Spurs against Portland last season. Spurs knew they were good. If you remember the game the Spurs were basically toying with Portland players. But what happened??? They somehow miraculously lost the second game, then won the next three in massive blowouts to give their fans a win in their home court. I see this happening with Warriors.
They will hand Pelicans this game. Then they will go to New Orleans and hammer them to the ground so AD is 3 feet tall. Thereafter they will return to Oracle Arena and thump AD even more so only his head is visible above the ground.
Take Pelicans. Forget spread. Take the sweet +600 and enjoy the cash. .
If for any odd reason Warriors decide to go against the script and win - double down on Pelicans next game. Only one thing is for sure - Warriors will hand Pelicans ONE game to win 4-1.

What are you on about?? Last season the Spurs won the first 2 at home by 24 and 17, then they headed to Portland and won game 3 by 15 and then they lost the 4th game in Portland by 11. They came home for the 5th and destroyed Blazers by 22...
Why would GSW give up a game just to win at home in the 5th game? If anything, the Warriors will drop 1 game in NO because the Pels are a decent team at home. Why would GSW go to NO 1-1 after 2 and then try and smash them 2 games in NO? Your angle doesn't make any sense whatsoever

I clearly stated that if Warriors somehow win (against the script), double down on next game, and if necessary the next. All I'm saying is Warriors will win in 5.

I like the over tonight. The only thing that makes it hard is New Orleans runs a trashy offense with no imagination or creativity so they just shoot a lot of idiotic shots at times. For it to go over the Warriors have to be hot from the field. The Thunder should have made it in instead of the Pelicans. They suck.

"They love their fans and vice versa" - but they want to hand the Pelicans this game in front of their beloved fans just to get a third home game ?
Interesting argument to go against the best home team on the ML.

Lmao. Because the Thunder would be so much better? They have absolutely no defense.

Dubs win first 2 at home. Steal one in New Orleans and finish it in game 6 at home. New Orleans will be a tough place to play Pelicans one of the best home dogs this season. Will be on that pelican spread and ML when they travel back to Nawlins

Anyone that claims a team will hand their opponent a game in the playoffs is insanely idiotic. Especially when one says they love their fans and vice versa. So you then contradict yourself saying they "hand the Pelicans the game" in GS tonight? You make no sense. Goodluck with your bet

It was a solid bet, but not for the reasons you stated. The Pelicans are a solid team, and its the playoffs. They came out hot after their great comeback from Game 1. But you cant just simply reason that a team that was 40-2 at home, was going to just "give the Pelicans the game."
