Hello everyone, hope all is well, been super busy with work and unfortunately posting sometimes falls by the wayside when it clashes with real life responsibilities. Haven't posted anything since the end of November but I have been still following the league and the games very closely as that is a habit that I don't think I'll be able to ever kick. Also been active on the little blue birdy application as I think it is one of the greatest things around right there for keeping in the loop with news and information.
Picks for this rainy Sunday here in Central California:
1. Atlanta Hawks -4.5 (-101), 1.01 to win 1 -- gonna keep riding the hot hand here although I definitely am a fan of Washington as well. Hawks ball movement has been awesome the last few months and they just make smart basketball decisions over and over and over. Their pieces fit together so well when healthy (that's the key obviously) but they are healthy now. Atlanta has been great at home (15-3 SU) which seems ass backwards considering they aren't exactly known for having a ton of local support. Washington only average on the road (9-7 SU and of those 7 losses, they haven't covered +4.5 in any of them). Atlanta has a bit of a psychological edge in that they already won in Washington. I also give ATL a pretty big edge in the coaching area although I'll admit that Wittman has improved a bit over the past few years. Loving my Budz +4000 ticket for Coach of the Year that I posted before the start of the year here. He's been fantastic this year and his team plays hard and smart for him.
May add some later but wanted to get this in given the start time
