Really Like Dallas here on the point spread. In my mind Dallas has enough talent and experience to compete with the Spurs due the missing influence of Kawhi Leonard and Tiago Splitter.
Without Kawhi, their most elite defender is out and a lot of the public will just be auto betting the spurs thinking "they are the champs" It will be hard to contain Dirk and monta although Monta of course is just a shot jacker. I fully expect his shot jacking to be slightly less better guarded.
Splitter is a solid bench center and the spurs will miss his 6-9 pts and 4 trips to the free throw line.
dont like that patty mills is out because he often throw up 3-5 3 pointers a game and hits them more times then not.
This suggests that pop will have to rely a lot on Tony and Tim, which isn't bad, but Ginobili has been hot garbage this year, I have no more faith in him as a player.
DAL can flat out score points, solid pre-season and that is mostly with the bench (of which the garbage has been cut) and that will put a lot of pressure on SAS to keep up. they will not be dominating and breezing to a 9 pt win here.
All in all the spurs can always win, of course, because its pops and the ship would be tight even with the lakers lineup (sans Kobe) I see SAS winning in a nailbiter or DAL winning straight up by 2-3 points with the only dangers being DAL not showing up or going down 3 late and SAS mooses the point spread with free throws in GT.
