This is what your are gambling on -- the leader of the team, who is also one of the worst defenders in the game, throwing his former teammates under the bus, and arrogantly pumpng himself above his current teammates
Harden is not a champ, not with Melo, not with Ariza, not with anything happening on that team. Next best leader is "Dwight Howard"? And their coach is Kevin McHale. Seriously do you think they can win a championship, minus your Rockets fandom?
ps. Remember how good Harden was in the finals? Right. He was not. He was a ghost because he has no defensive skills (and is not working on them)

I look at that roster and there is nothing there that screams championship team. They need more pieces. It starts with their two "leaders," and to this point in their careers we pretty much have a read that they aren't the type of championship level caliber players. Now each has made it to the Finals, Dwight was a bit more impressive with his trip. Meanwhile, Harden was a riding Durant to the promised land, only to be exposed.
I like Terrence Jones. He's a nice player. Gave my fantasy team a nice stretch last year. Ariza is a proven NBA player who can do several things. No one else besides maybe Beverly excites me whatsoever. This team will be in the bottom half in the playoff race and way outclassed by a handful of teams.

Win the west ??? I will be surprised if Rockets reach something like 6th seed.... SA, OKC, LAC, GSW, MEM and DAL will be before them in the bracket for sure!
