Game 1, A/C goes down, LeBron goes out and Spurs destroyed them after that....Everybody blames heat and LeBron not playing.

Game 2, Spurs misses four free throws that could've made a difference in the game, and even at that, the game was not decided until last minute.

Game 3, A/C is working fine, LeBron has no cramps, Heat have blown everyone at home this postseason and Spurs come to town and don't give a f*** about anything and absolutely annihilates this team.

Again, why is this series going 7?

Going six. I'm damn sure. That's why I don't get why certain people overreact.

I'm not too sure to be honest.

Based on three games, I am not so sure anymore.

you don't want to over react after each win. After gm1 it was all about how Miami are in trouble. After gm2 Miami became series faves and talk was how they will win it all now and Spurs are in trouble if they don't play effectively. Now we'll probably go 360 degrees in thoughts & opinions again. I have Spurs in 6 but i'm not confident on it as Miami are a tough squad. either way this win was big for the Spurs. A pivotal game.

Spurs were also an AC away from losing game 1.

Of course Miami is a tough squad. They are the two-time defending champs!

This series is reminding me a LOT when Lakers played Pistons in 2004 when Lakers were so heavily favored and even after going down 1-2, people were saying they will get series with no problems.

Heat are not heavily favored here, but the perception of people like "no way in hell, impossible" for them to lose next game at home.

yeah, i almost fell for it myself. I mean these dudes have a flawless record at home and always bounce back after a loss. In no way was i comfortable backing Spurs in Heats 1st game @ home but w/ some help from my pal Monty McCutchen they got it done

Zigzag will be ineffective come game 4 after what happened in game 6 last year. Game 2 will be the only game Miami will win in this series.

......Soooooooooooo,had spurs made the 4 free-throws they were GUARANTEED to win that game, huh???.
boy,you really know sports,dude

wat a dunce.....god only knows wat the hell the point is in playing this woulda coulda shoulda game...oh,if this shot went down and they didnt make that foul and the temperature was 3 degrees more and the light had have stayed green a bit longer on the way to the arena........who gives a fu..kk wat "might" have happened in slightly different scenarios???
anyone can mention 1000000000 different scenarios giving opposite results to counter this crap.teams ARE wat their results say they are in the long run....3 games have been played and spurs are 2-1 better.pretty simple

i guess youre one of the ones "taking away" lebrons championship because ray allen "shouldnt" have got 2 make that 3-pointer????

Again, why is this series going 7?

1. awfully biased to assume spurs would win g1 even if LeBron didn't leave. Miami sustained every spurs run, in that game and had the lead for most of the 2nd half. Momentum shifted once bron left.

2.g2 was similar to g1, Miami took every shot spurs gave them, sustained it and pulled the win out. yep, spurs missed 4 ft's, but check the ft edge for the spurs, they've been getting to the line more, so that's really on spurs underperforming.

3. I guess most see g3 as spurs playing how spurs play. They shot a ridiculously high rate, however if you dig deeper you see the ref crew was the biggest road ref crew in the league and spurs were getting quick whistles early, heat were getting nothing. Set the table early with a 13-4 ft advantadge in the 1stq, which had enough momentum shift for spurs to go on a run. Not gonna take anything away from how the players shot the ball, cause they did shoot well, however the advantadge was set early. Oh and after Miami cut the lead to 7, you know to make it look competitive, quick whistles all against Miami late 3rd, early 4th basically ensured spurs win.

most will not agree with what I wrote because it is a look deeper into the game and not one of just face value. To say spurs were just ft's away from being 3-0 is highly biased.

something else to note, if spurs were up 2-0 in the series, refs wouldn't have called the game the same in g3 nor would that ref crew been assigned to that game.

The missed free throws occurred with 6:00 left in the game so let's not over-emphasize the point. Duncan has an ugly free throw anyway....it amazes me that he makes over 60%. Making free throws is what winners do. Losers miss them. The Spurs missed and lost. It's part of the game.

Miami will win game 4....that's about a sure of a bet as there is. That leaves a three game series with two in S.A. It will be interesting.

true, but problem with your comparison to lakers/pistons is that
1. Miami is not favored in this series at opener, spurs were
2. The perception was spurs win this series in 4 or 5 games.

Another way to look at it is, it's not WHO wins the series that is the question, but HOW MANY games it would take San Antonio to win in.

That's the true perception of this series.

Your thread started on the assumption of how close spurs are from being up 3-0 this series.....

Understand?

HUH??????????????????

You look at a 7 game series line of -125/+115 and the perception is that the Spurs win in 4 or 5 games?????? The last time I thought I knew ANYTHING about gambling or PROBABILITY, I assumed a -125/+115 would result in true odds of -120 or roughly 53.4% chance of winning the series. So, before the series started Miami had a 46.6% chance of winning. This is as close to a coin-flip line that you can have, yet the result that YOU expect is 4-0 or 4-1.

You should really think about the stuff you post here as your ignorance shines in bright neon if you do not.

The perception, as odds reflected, was spurs in 7 or Heat in 6

no no no no. I'm not talking based on odds. I'm talking about reading the boards on what everyone's opinion is. That's the true perception. I think I have seen one sours backer stats spurs in 7. Every other spurs backer has said spurs in 4 or 5.

So next time read what I wrote before you assume something I never said.

Based on the fact that you wrote what you wrote, I assume that you agree with the 4-0 or 4-1 "perception". Why else would you take the time to write that?

Bobmaloog said it best....the perception was Heat in 6 or Spurs in 7. The fact that you even took the time to type the post that 4-0 "perception" makes you look a little foolish.

how is that foolish when I'm just repeating what I have read by many people on this site?
