These books don't give out free money. Having the Pacers at +305 is nuts and I don't think the books are willing to pay that money once all the bets are in. This game will be 50/50 with public betting percentages come gametime. There's no way 80 percent of the public will be on miami and the pacers win. Pacers might cover but I think this series is over.

The books actually do give out free money. They have to in order to stay in business. Think about it like this- If they never allowed the 80% bets to win, then people could easily see and spot that pattern and exploit it.
So, everything they do is calculated. They payout bets much larger than +300 all the time. Part of that is the mind games that they play with you, so they have Indy looking like heavy dogs to make you think Miami is a lock.
Nothing new there. Considering Miami is undefeated at home this post season, and the way things have played out, I don't think there's anything strange about the line, or anything that says Miami is a lock.
All that being said if I had a gun to my head, I'd play Miami on the ML before I would Indy. But I just don't trust Indy anymore because we were just talking in another thread about how they have a very weak mindset, and the mind is everything. Indy could very well blow their opportunity like they did in game 3. They were up 17-4 early, looking strong and then they end up getting blown out.

William Hill is by far the best and only place to bet at in Vegas. If I'm lazy and I'm staying at another casino, I might bet there. Other than that, no way. They rip you off too much at other casinos. William Hill has the best payouts, and layouts. It's kinda like the "5 dimes" of las vegas.

Station casinos are no good. You'd be better off going to one of the William Hill locations. If you tell me what part of town you're in, I could recommend a close casino for you.
It's worth it to take the extra trip anyway. The payouts are much higher and the odds are better usually. Especially on the parlay cards during NFL season. But even a normal parlay, let's say you do a 4 team ATS, will only pay $800 to $1000 and at William Hill you get the $1250 that you should get. So they rip you off by HUNDREDS of dollars at other casinos, just for a $100 bet, you lose $200 to $400 on a 4 teamer by betting at a crap casino like Orleans

All the casinos on the strip suck too. Hooters is probably the closest William Hill to the strip that I can think of right now.
So if you're by the south strip, go to Hooters and do your bets there. You'll get a far better payout. Even the local casinos here, like the stations rip you off.
