Is it possible that these guys were just looking ahead to what they knew was inevitable for them? Seeing Miami in the ECF? They lolly gagged through round 1 and 2.... granted it took them 7 games in round 1. But they are injury free.... 100% healthy.... and i guess now you say they are "battle tested".
Were we seeing a bigger sand bagging job than the Spurs for the first half of the season? Because they've showed up every single time that they needed to show up..... I really hate this feckin stupid team.... but I really just noticed this.... It would be smarter for them to sand bag a couple of games here and there to keep their focus up..... they sold me for a dope I bet the Wiz before the series started.... but they showed up every single game that was a MUST WIN back agaisnt the wall type of scenario. Something tells me these guys did this shiit intentionally to keep a mental edge and intensity..... yea it sounds far fetched.... but we will see come Sunday..... they still have home court.
I really find it hard to believe these guys are gonna be chumps against a team they have the biggest hard on for out of anyone in the league..... I can't feckin stand the Pacers..... but seriously are they going to go down in like 5 or 6 games like a bunch of scrubs?

If the Pacers start 2-0, then it will be a series. I just don't see that happening. There is no way what they were doing was on purpose. They just aren't a very good team right now. Brooklyn is better and would have been playing the Heat in the conference finals if they didn't give up at the end of the regular season.
For the sake of a watchable NBA Finals, you better hope the Heat win.
If the Pacers somehow made the Finals, OKC or the Spurs would probably sweep them.

I already mentioned it another thread not gonna keep talking about and beating a dead horse.
Brooklyn had enough to win the whole thing..... I didnt expect D will to be a feckin Dough Boy..... guy was a total scrub. We all know hes not hte same player he was in utah..... BUt.... if you never watched a NBA game in your life and you watch the Nets play..... you'd be like "oh wow that chubby white kid is really feckin good.... he's breaking everyone ankles out there" Yea hes good except hes a pusssy getting out played by bigger dough boys than him like Mario Chalmers. I guess it evened out after 9 games.... Brooklyn won the first 4 games Miami won the next 4 out of 5 games.... all games were close even with a feckin no show PG.... 100 million dollar dough boy.....
Pacers show signs of superb basketball and Brooklyn/Miami like defensive and offensive half court sets. I gotta feeling they show up. And they took notes of Brooklyn. People don't get how efficient both teams played in that BK/Miami series..... that series was far from a chuck fest like OKC/Clippers..... that was a bullshiit series....
When BK and Miami played the ball looked like it was moving around on a rope between them in a half court set..... they took a lot of 3 pointers but look at all those 3 pointers..... wide open shots after the ball got touched by everyone on the team and they swung it around 5-7 times before they took a shot..... both teams....
Look at Miami's execution at the end of the game..... They seem to get that 3 pointer.... its a wide open look bosh hit that dagger 3 on brooklyn game 4 that ball swung around all over the place.... And then we compare to chucks that are OKC and LAC..... westbrook tkaes that disgusting 3 pointer to get bailed out by another idiot in CP3 fouling him..... that shiit was never an issue with teams like BK or miami.... they wouldn't stand for shiit like that....
Indy has shown signs of that type of play..... will be interesting to see.

It's hard for my imagination to even entertain a Pacers series win. Then again my imagination is not so grandiose. And for the sake of respectable basketball - despite my disdain of Miami - Pacers please go down in the crappy way you know how.

It's not Durant's time until the King passes the crown to him.....
The spurs are stuck in a transitional state..... they're neither dead or alive..... just roaming the earth trying to find their way..... The king is looking over his shoulder for them.
I love Durant but Lebron is on another level. Woud love to seethe pacers put a scare into the heat and give us some nice odds on their futures.

whoever can steal a game in enemy territory will win this series.
i am not sure if i want to buy my kids PG/hibbert/west shoes, everyone wants lebron or kd shoes.
no idea what frenchy and old duncan wears.
Look at JepJep.... comin out of the woodworks.... you make good points bro. Seriously.
This is why the Spurs are dangerous. On the flip side they are GOOD and BAD for the NBA. They go quietly and unnoticed. BUT, everyone knows about them. They are a small market team but yet they get the national spot light and prime time TV slots. Their coach says 3 words post game and he's a celebrity, almost an icon on Phil's level.
they have a top 10 player of all time and no one has a bad thing to say about him. He's nearly 40 years old playing at an elite level to this day. They come quietly but leave big.... So big that they blow their opponents away by 20-30 points in close out games.... they are 5-1 in the NBA finals..... and that last one didn't sit well with them.....
most teams have a championship window that last a few years. They've done it since the late 90's..... No one knows about the Spurs but everyone knows about the Spurs......

We're
only going to find out about the heat after the first round.....
everything is a mystery. but clearly they dont want any part of Brooklyn
or Chicago. They can probably get away with resting Lebron and Bosh
every other game with D wade being a complete scratch for the whole
series against ATL. WE all know the potential of the heat.....
But
its the same thing for the last 4 years.... blue prints were written
teams were revamped. they are familiart with the them. Boston had their
number with Pierce and Garnett before...... guess where they are at
now.... been saying and will keep saying it.... Chicago is gonna treat
it like their super bowl if htey see the heat. one of them will crack
the heat..... Indy has no shot to beat the heat..... they are not mentally ready to play them..... home court or not.

I think it'll be a series. I think Indy has been looking ahead to this for awhile now and they're a tough matchup for Miami. I think the Heat will win but it wouldn't be a huge upset to me if Indy pulls this off.

Pacers have been so wildly inconsistent game by game this entire playoff series who an really predict what will happen. I do have a gut feeling this one is going seven games though.
