damn,i assumed and have stated that the warriors come playoff time would revert to their old ways on defense and get torched by every other western conference team in front of them.......i firmly believed their standing as a very solid defensive team earned in the regular season was simply a mirage and partly a reflection of the weaker average standard of opposition faced throughout that marathon...but i gotta hand it to them.even tho they were hardly stellar tonite they did more than enuff to get the job done and forced tough shots and sloppy play at crucial times.klay thompson and david lee are a little better than i give them credit for and these guys played with desire, thats for certain....old warriors squads would have given up 130 tonite to this clippers side.
mite have to re-evaluate their chances in the series if they are able to at least sumwat limit wat l.a. can do.....time will tell

yep, with motivation and anger it shud be a walk-over bobmalooga....but then thats wat we were expecting here too.
theres no way clippers cud have taken these guys lightly tonite and gotten "ambushed"...not with the heated nature of this wee rivalry surely.
but they were simply out-passioned and out-played..i stand by my assertion the clippers are a considerably better outfit top to bottom in this series.....but the only doubt that creeps in is whether they start to get tight and feel self-inflicted pressure of being a top dog expected to do well and go far on this run.....warriors on the other hand arent given much hope by many "experts" and can play loose and free without as much to lose so to speak.
hopefully l.a. lifts their game up several notches next time out...goes without saying only having 19 minutes of griffin was an enormous factor in the result....if i known this in advance it definitely affects any decision to back that team

Melo -- I'm on the other side and hoping Waryers win the series in 6 or 7 -- that said I see the Clips doing that instead -- Clips win 2 and 3 and then Warriors 4 -- then clips game 5 and 6

Doc Rivers is one of few coaches that Jackson is capable of out strategizing
this, doc is overrated, struck lightning with a super team once, but MJaxx thoroughly out coached him today, especially with the way he utilized Lee on the screens and double motions. Doc had no answer. With that said, I agree with Bob, flop city game two. Collision and Crawford can only play better and with all the post game bitching, flop will get some favorable calls.
