Ended up 33-26 56% for +1.7 units for the year last year.

Light number of plays overall and I lost some big bets.  I'll pick my spots as Im hardly an NBA guru but hopefully this can extend my picking season into June.

Im big on the Warriors this year and will be loving to fade the Lakers.

Couple weeks...

And I was right!  Almost broke my discipline and put money on OKC - would have been a loss.

Preseason = roulette wheel.

Nice one Lakers.

Indiana -2. 1 unit.  Pacers struggled and won by 10.  This is a team that is supposed to challenge Miami for the Eastern Conference.  Back to back game but they've still got fresh legs.  Pelicans line-up is meh at best IMHO.

Celtics +8.5. 1 unit.  They played this game in the pre-season and lost by two.  Not necessarily a true predictor but they matched up well.  Lets see how Brad Stevens handles the pros.

Atlanta  +5.5. 1 unit.  Just plain and simply like this Hawks team in this spot.  Horford and Milsap are beast on the glass, Teague and Carroll efficient.  Versus aging Dirk and no defense Monta Ellis, I might even ML tomorrow if it creeps up.

This is why it's a debacle!  Indiana now the dog.  Ill add 1 unit at +1.5. Im not exactly sure when NO turned into contenders in bettors eyes but Jrue Holiday doesn't make them one IMHO.

Pacers!  That's why they're contenders!  Thought that Atlanta had that but Monta Ellis went nuts.  And nice job Bahston keeping it close.

3-1 first two days for +2.9 units.  Solid start.

Obviously the Lakers won with a lot of emotion versus the Clippers on opening night and the Warriors will be in a back to back but while watching this evisceration, no way Im not taking 7 points versus the Clips.

Golden State +7.  1 unit.

Im going to add a +250 ML bet with the Warriors.  1 unit.  If the Spash bros get hot, look out.  I don't see the same level of shooting on the other side.  Bogut and Iggy can contain Blake from running and jumping around all day.  Curry didn't even really play yesterday.

Barf.  Dammit GS.

Hawks -2.5. 1 unit.  Toronto has no Monta Ellis to put the game away like Dallas did.

Philadelphia +7.  1 unit.  Both teams rested, it may be early but Philly looks like a tough out.  4 possessions might be too much.

Think I can safely say Philly is going to lose here.

1-3 last few days for -2.3, 4-4 for +.6 overall.

Grind, grind, grind...

Mavs -.8.  2 units.  Lakers have put up a fight at home but Mavs/Cuban will look to punish Kobe-less LA.  They won the two games in Dallas last year by 8 and 20 WITH Kobe.

Pacers PK.  1 unit.  I still love these guys despite the near collapse in New Orleans.  They match-up well versus Detroits bigs and they are well rested.

6-4 for +3.6 units overall!

Wanted 2nd half Rockets but not at only +2.

Philly +2.5.  2 units.  Huh?  Someone tell me what Im not seeing.  76ers just beat Washington in DC by 7.  76ers rested.  GS Warriors had all their shots falling so thats the only thing I can think of here of why they are getting points.  I'll take it.

GS/Minn under 210.  2 units.

I know they could torch each other but I think that both teams keep the scoring down with some effort on defense.  The last 8 times they have played, they have failed to reach 210 and Im hoping both teams believe they have improved their defenses.

I know a 3 point battle could kill this but I like my chances.

Adding  Memphis 1st half -4.  1 unit.  Full game -7.5.  1 unit.

Pelicans are barf bad and played yesterday in AZ.  Now they go to a rested Memphis who is better than their record appears.  Just worried about some backdoor BS on this one...Memphis hasnt throttled a team yet.

Three Times - dont see it yet - I'll send as well.

Adding Pacers -2.  1 unit.  Chicago is 0-3 on the road.  Pacers are on a back to back but at home.  Didnt have to travel too far from Detroit to get there.  I think the Pacers bigs can handle the job and Boozers defense is lacking.  Rose has been meh on his return.  They'll be fighting but I think the Pacers can close it out in what is essentially a pick-em.

Adding:

Clippers under 210.  How is this line so high?  This seems high for a game that will most likely result in the Clippers destroying them in the first half then cruising until the clock runs out so they can return to their hotels and get some DC ho on.  Still Clips are scoring...alot.

Clips -3.5 1st half.  1 unit.  Cant say the above then not put my money where my mouth is.

NO/Memphis under 189.5.  1 unit.  Was considering at 187.5.  Line just moved two the wrong way.  Uh-oh.  All their past contests have been bang out slugfests so not sure if Jrue Holiday (who I think is overrated) makes the line move or what but I'll stick with my gut.

Too much action for one day.  I play what I like but this could be ugly....augh....

Should have left Clips half alone and just gone with the under.

Take Philly -1 2nd half.  1 unit.  They still look good.  Wiz cant drain 80% 3s second half right?

OK, its official.  My hard-on for the 76ers is over.  Good grief.

Amazingly, I salvaged a 4-5 for -1.6 unit day.

That puts my overall at 10-9 for +2 units.

Ugh, too much action on BS.  No more half times bets and half time full time bets.  Thats twice Ive been burned.  Had I cuts that out, I could have been 5-4 for +  units on a meh day.
