The Heat are a F-ing joke...regardless of the outcome

Why doesnt anyone point the finger at the Heat coach for their pathetic play and incredible inconsistency? They have a Coach who clearly cant motivate or put his team in positions of strength (Bosh needs to be in the paint and playing down low!). And this band of losers (yes, LeBron, YOU big loser), despite still being able to win the championship in 7 games, makes the NBA and a "superstar" team an embarrassment to team sports. They have no discipline. They require being down one game to play their best. It's a sad state of affairs. With all do respect to the Spurs, this thing should've been over in 5 or 6. Ask Indiana- they let teams hang around.

You guys think MJ or Kobe/Phil Jackson teams ever had that happen to them? NOPE. Guys, I rarely start these threads- but it's seriously sickening to watch millionaire athletes like the Heat play incredibly well one night and then SH-T the bed the next. The only solace I have is that I am making $$ off these games, so I suppose I shouldnt bitch. If but for the cash I'e made, I wouldnt waste my time watching this piss poor sport. The NHL is where it's at. Stop watching these lovable losers on TNT and hit up NBC- much more meaningful to these men and quite frankly more exciting.

Thanks for allowing me to go on an NBA tirade this evening...

Except when they decide to flip the switch, then they are unbeatable.

Not sure why they mail it in every other game though

Agree completely. They are completely unbeatable. But they cannot sustain it. And I'm sick of the Heat homers out there claiming James is better than MJ or Kobe or even guys like Bird. These fella's had a hunger for winning. Not in 7 games either. They pushed, screamed, and lead by example even when they were up 2-0 in a series. That's what made them great.

The Spurs big 3 know they cant win a road game 7

They will give it their best shot tomorrow..

Duncan will go ham tomorrow for sure

If it annoys you, then don't watch it. Nobody is strapping you down to a chair and forcing you to watch anything.

And what is with people like you ripping Spoelstra? He finished second in the voting for coach of the year this year for a reason. He took a championship team and made them better this year. He has gone to a positionless lineup and has been successful in doing so. The were 7th in the league in PPG and 3rd in the league defensively in points allowed. Then you will say well they should be, they have great players. Yes, but great players come with great egos and to date since he's taken over, there hasn't been any serious inner locker room drama that has been made public -- the egos and personalities appear to have meshed quite well. It would be foolish to not give Spoelstra at least some of the credit for that. You say he can't motivate his team or put them in positions of strength. If they win 2 more games, they win back to back titles under Spoelstra. That is enough of a response to this nonsense you're spewing.

Spoelstra is a joke dude. Imagine if Pop were the coach of the Heat. They would have won this series in 4 or 5. Why? Discipline. Playing to their strengths. Even when Tim Duncan gets off of the game plan, Pop is all over him. So you can take your sarcasm and strappable device and go hang with Spoelstra, who is nothing more than a below average coach with stud players helping fool people like you that he is skilled and intelligent. He doesnt have the stones to scream, lead, and motivate. If he did, he would know that when Bosh is in the paint scoring, defending, etc. the stats are BLATANTLY in favor of the Heat dominating. But instead, your coach you want to give all this credit to lets his guys run all over him and play on raw talent alone. It's going to get you to game 7, but at some point it catches up to a team.

If and when they win this series, it has NOTHING to do with that Coach. It's a sad freaking day that there are guys like you out there that actually believe that.

He's not my coach and I'm certainly not a fan of the Heat. I just don't like ignorant comments. Take it from an unbiased point of view if that's possible for you to do. Get past your hatred or frustrated betting experiences.

If Popovich, or Pat Riley, were be coaching this team, nobody knows how different it would be, if at all. They very well could be in the same scenario in the finals, which by the way, is one in which both teams have essentially held serve and the Heat now with two at home to close it out and win back to back titles. Riley would get praise for knowing how to manage egos like he did in LA, New York and Miami previously. What does Spoelstra have to do to garner some respect? Win a ring? Done. Win two? Check back late Thursday night.

What you are basically saying here is that if the team excels, it has nothing to do with the coach. If the team underachieves, it's all on the coach. You may claim to be an experienced sports bettor and fan, but that opinion is one of a novice. You really expected the Heat to possible sweep the Spurs? Laughable, you are.

I'm not a fan of either team, just like you. Or the NBA for that matter. But I like to wager on games, and as I said in my initial post, I've been winning. No bad betting experiences at all this NBA finals.

By no means am I comparing Spoelstra to the legendary coaches you listed in Pop, Jackson, or Riley. However, you should not be so quick to forget how much talent was on those teams too. Pop has had Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, and superb role players for years. If he wins it this year, it'll be his most impressive title IMO as his stars have aged. Phil had Kobe & Shaq, MJ and Pippen. Riley had Magic, Worthy, Kareem... and in 2006 he had Shaq, Wade, Mourning, Payton, Antoine Walker. I'm sure you already knew all this, but it just shows that this Heat team is not really unlike most of the championship teams in the past. They ALL are loaded with talent and many of them have the best player in the world at that time on their team. I don't know why people still think this Miami team is the most loaded with talent that the league has ever seen, it's really not.

You would think they would cover him when he had made 15 or 20, but nope !!

James is a coach killer. I don't even think he'd listen to Popovich

have to agree with ya sully, im no big B ball fan but do put money on the finals, i just enjoy seeing a team that spends so much money on the players and they end up losing it all, im going with the over game 6 thinking if both teams are hot they will go well over the total.To see a team play like miami with all the talent they have not be able to put together back to back wins amazes me. GL man

I have to say I do agree with the coaching comment. He has been out coached almost every game of this series. Pop is just on a different level. I however do not agree that the Heat should have won this series in 6. The Spurs are flat out a very good basketball team with seasoned vets. Multiple championships for the Spurs big 3. The problem is the media crowned the Heat champions before the season even started. Therefore everyone thinks they should roll over teams. Wade has been garbage because of injury and the other players only have good games once in a while. Not a good mixture against a seasoned Spurs team. Heat need to have a great game out of the starters and bench players to beat this team. Just my two cents.
