Guys, if you are all so convinced that the NBA is fixed and the orders come from the top in the effort to maximize profits, please answer each of the following:

Why haven't the Knicks won a title in 40 years?

Why have the Spurs, a small market team, been so dominant with 4 titles in the last 15 years?

Why did Yao go to Houston and not Chicago or Golden State (who were the #2 and #3 picks in the 2002 draft.  Wouldn't you think the lottery ping pong balls would have "fallen in favor" of Chicago or Golden State if those are two bigger markets with considerable Asian presence?

Why did LeBron choose Miami instead of New York, Brooklyn, or Chicago?

Why have the NBA Finals only gone to Game 7 once in the last seven years?

Heat/Thunder last year was the NBA's dream matchup, but why would it only go 5 games?

Silly comment.  Does the entire state root for the Spurs?  If not your comment makes no sense.  Yes the Spurs have some fans in Texas and outside of San Antonio metro, but still overall it's a small market.

Whats your reasoning behing asking why Knicks havent won in 40 years but S.A. has 4 in 15 years. Are you trying to say because S.A. needs the exposure because they are a much smaller market and the Knicks dont need it because they are a much bigger market. if so then the Lakers wouldnt have gotten any either. Its obvious to me because the Knicks havent had the pieces and when they perhaps seemed like they did, there was a guy named Michael Jordan who kept them from it, on the other hand S.A. has had great talent and a great coach, just dont see what youre getting at.
About LeBron why would he need to choose one of those teams, not everybody cares about a large market, besides he doesnt need it, I wouldnt choose those frigid cities over Miami either.

No no. There is no question the NBA would want the Knicks to succeed.  Knicks fanbase is huge with the potential to be even bigger if they win consistently.  That would equal more viewers, more publicity, more merchandise sales, the better for the NBA.  NY is the most valuable (literally worth the most) team in the league, and brought in the most revenue of any team in the league.
