It turns out the Spurs are pretty tough coming off a loss, too

Ah! the number 3 ..

This is a good point. The Spurs don't need  to give the Heat a payback blow-out  game ..just win by three or with a three..

25 years ago about 1 of every 18 field-goal attempts in the league was a 3-pointer. Now a 3-pointers represented almost 1 of every 4 shots taken.

I heard some announcer say the other day ...think it was Jeff Van Gundy.-.It seems like 3 pointers go in better when you are at home-

If this holds true in game 3-- the Spurs at home shooting and making the 3 should cover by 3...

HiHoldem, sorry for burying you (and me) on the Spurs moneyline on Sunday.

I was in a pretty good car wreck a week ago as I insanely went "Asleep at the Wheel".......As, I am leaving the scene 30 minutes later, a bystander dribbled out to me, "garbage happens".

I don't know if this is a very good analogy; but, I actually still like both of yall.

LOL

That's right. Bator covering his p's and q's. He looks great if the Spurs win tonight and if they lose, he'll pull out his fictitious Heat series beat for close to 30k and still look in relatively good shape.

How's about you post your ticket sir so the folks that lap up the enigma that is MrBator know you're for real.

You're for the most part a fade the public guy passing himself off as a Vegas 'sharp'.

Bator has nothing to prove to you or anyone else here. If you don't want to utilize his information and research in your picks, then move on sir.

I don't speak for others, but the reason I enjoy and value Bator's posts and thoughts have ZERO to do with how much money he says he has bet on any one particular game and far more to do with the quality of analysis he brings.

I wish those tickets weren't real.  I bet $10,000 at the Riviera (William Hill) at -200, $11,550 at LVH at -210, and $8,400 at the Tuscany (also William Hill) at -210.  You want 'em?

I think I'll take Spurs 1st half -1. Spurs are great in the 1st half at home and I like the playoff atmosphere to go with my bet.

May I ask why you like the Indians over the Rangers?
Great information in this thread, thank you.

Don't pointspreads kinda equal things out for ya?  Can you define what you mean by a "good winning record"?  Do you mean any team over .500, or any team over .600...

Close to 50/50 overall.  However, Covers public and "experts" leaning spurs.

Late money coming in on MIA. Sharps always bet right when line drops and a few hrs before game time.

Well, that's when it's looked @ATS. Don't forget those who are looking for the Heat +xxx on the ML. About 56% right now.

i wouldn't read too much into the spurs coming off a loss with rest. in the regular season they beat sacramento (3 times), phoenix, minnesota, atlanta (twice), philly, orlando, boston (twice)

NBA betting is hard to do. Why do we torture ourselves doing it? Think about it. Bosh and LeBron are a couple of big kids that never had to grow up. They just play ball and when they go home they get to play some more. We bet on these clowns. Why?

Huh ?
Anyways, I've taken over 187 and consider it the strongest bet I've made this year. Who wins this shootout is irrelevant to me.
