After looking at the 3 games I see a much more even matchup then people would like to believe.
Indiana has played the better teams the previous 2 series.
The Hollywood Heat may have some distractions. D wade taking a girl to prom had me scratching my head.
Indianapolis has very little distractions and the Pacers remind me of the Heat last year.
Defensive, Rebounds, and if the 3 falls is going to determine this game/ series
I took a medium play Pacers to win the series since I see value in +500. The under looks good for this first game. Opinions welcome but back them up with some facts!

Even the announcers after the game looking at those bs technicals said they thought there was a conspiracy theory and had a good laugh. Fun series to watch but all those heat series backers at -700 are probably starting to sweat. These teams are a great matchup but just losing may give the other team an advantage . I am going to enjoy the game since I have my money on the pacers series. Miami heat's crowd sucks so I think they may play better away and puts more pressure on Indiana. No team has had a terrible game..yet. Only thing I ask is look at the numbers before you jump on the HEAT. Gut feelings will only get you so far

I was like finally they say the truth about the refs in a heat game... 90% of heat games are like this honeslty... and no one says anything...someone posted that they should be investigated and I agree... everyone in the media is scared to say anything due to fines being thrown at them... wonder where that kind of money goes... sterns pocket... lol...

I actually haven't put one average stat in this thread. I think the stats I have posted are relevant. They are complete games and show trends.The averages online for the most part don't matter as much as individual games in the series and what went wrong/ right for the winning and losing team
Like Indiana has won the majority of the games when they are winning at half time.
Points in the paint.. Is miami going to try stopping Hibbert or will they try to speed up the pace of the game?( I think there going to try getting him in foul trouble and pound the paint)
How have the heat shot 3's.. and is that even an option for them anymore.
What can Miami do about rebounds?
Does defense win the game? Looking at turnovers seems to be Indiana's weak point but they dominate in rebounds
Also Indiana's top scorer has been George, Hibbert, West where Miami has relied on Lebron for the majority of their points.

In all of these games except the one Heat blowout the Pacers have had by far the biggest lead.Thats 6 out of 7 games You could just look at this thread and see it. Man I'm tired.. Should be waking up just in enough time for a snack and to watch the game

Excellent work Noah. Observing the collective and locating short term pockets of angles and trends. You are right, its a ton of work, but there is nothing that can match it for clarity. How you format and manage the data is the challenge (for me anyhow). But once its honed and polished you can go right down the line, team by team and game by game and watch the rhythems develop. It cetainly helps to minimize emotion and favoritism.
Im outside most of the day today, but I'll check in later to see how many more 5k posters are confused by objective analysis lol.
Have you folded scoring by qtr/half into your reads as well? In my opinion that ties it all together.
