If you need a meaningless 3 pointer with seconds left to cover, you got lucky. Period. Anyone that doesn't see that is a degenerate.
And FWIW, I took the Bucks.

not bullsh1t, just the wrong side, the right bet is always the one that cashes, although it sucks to lose that way, it happens, im sure you have won a few with a 3 at the buzzer, its something that should be factored into a bet, if you thought there was a chance the bucks would keep it close enough to be able to backdoor the heat at the end then the bet shouldnt have been made, but you took the heat so im guessing you didnt think a meaningless 3 at the end would get the bucks within the number, but it did so therefore it was the wrong bet. when you bet a spread that large and are expecting it to cover, you should assume that the last few minutes of the game are going to be garbage time and the only team with the need to score would be the bucks, why would the heat try at the end with the game in hand, when betting a spread that large you should always assume the last basket of the game is coming from the team that is down. its not like the bucks should have just stopped playing. it was just to many points for the heat to lay and the bucks got the cover. if the heat were the right side they would have been up 19 or 20 at the end and a 3 wouldnt have meant anything, but one loss isnt something to go on tilt about. today is a new day....
im not bashing your pick and i did not play either side in that game, just sharing my thoughts. you lost one last night so win two tonight and forget all about it.
