"We need to learn from our mistakes on that road trip," said center Andrew Bogut, who missed the OKC and Dallas games as he's still not ready to play back-to-back nights. "It is only four games, but it is a wake-up call."

Bogut was the one who took real offense to the Rockets taking all the threes, with a tweet saying (basically), "We'll see you next Thursday."

I think Boguts tweet represents the mentality of the entire team coming into this game. The coach, team, fans will all be looking for revenge against this Rockets team

I don't consider revenge a motivational angle especially at the pro level.  These guys make millions of dollars a year, tough to have revenge in your heart.  They are professionals who look to do their jobs, only the gambler thinks like this.  You better hope Harden plays or that GS bet will get weaker by the minute.  GS is in a bad funk, I've never seen a team play defense on the road like that ever.  They were giving 120+ like it was nothing.

I'll give you an example when revenge comes into play.  The Pacers celebrated in LA two years ago like they won the NBA championship.  Kobe and other players commented on it after the game and said they would remember it.  Nobody knew of this except the people who read the papers the next day, the LAL were up by 20+ at the half and showed no mercy in Indiana months later.  That's when I buy revenge, not a game like this when the entire gambling world is licking their chops salivating to bet GS like they found gold on the street.

Under Under Under

You would think gsw would have some pride in D after they got torched by the 3 ball last time around.  Playing with an edge I see the D picking up on both sides of the ball.  Under 219!

i like Golden State to win in this spot.  The last time they played the Rockets put up a ridiculous 140 points and couldn't miss from three land.  I think the Warriors come out to play and win and cover.  I see the total still going over because of the lack of defense.  Warriors and the over.

Just as an interesting Bay Area side note, since the 49ers lost the Super Bowl, the Sharks have lost 5 in a row, and the Warriors have lost 4 in a row...

while i respect your opinion regarding revenge being minimal the pro level, the rockets were shooting 3's up 30 trying to set an nba record when your coach gets piles on technical fouls and makes a fuss it obviously can be taken to heart by these guys

its also all relative, to you or i its easy to think guys making millions playing basketball don't hold a grudge but if draymodn green making 850k and barnes making 2.2 million its small potatoes compared to david lee and rj making 12 and 10 million each

in terms of every gambler licking their chops, i think thats a huge overstatement, youd be giving much more credit to the average joe bettor than they deserve.   this line movement is pretty much moving based on hardens injury and the recent games the two teams have played...the same amount of people licking their jobs for gsw revenge angle can = the amount of people licking their chops at houston to bounce back from their loss @ sac....

maybe, just maybe some people will notice golden state lost by 30 to the rockets last week but only a very few people other than those knee-deep in the bettting game will know or remember the rockets running up the score and mark jackson receiving technicals unless they are a die-hard gsw/hou fan or they see it on sports center....

bol in what you decide 165 personally i like the buy-low opportunity on the warriors combined with the revenge so i laid -150 and bought the warriors to -3

Mark Jackson is old school coach from NYC. He was taught if you keep coming into lane somebody will take you out. In this case it was Hou jacking up 3s. MJ handled perfectly, spoke like a true old school player.

You're acting like the Warriors are trying to exact revenge on the Miami Heat. It's not. It's the Rockets (they of the dreadful 10-17 road record). General betting percentages are showing a pretty even split on this game. This thread alone has several posters backing Houston. It's not the one-sided Warrior party you're making it out to be. I'll party with Golden State big for the 1H and normal for the game. Either way, I appreciate your side of the story.

I had this game marked and circled, and been waiting for tonight.. You can only justify tonight's game if you watch last 5 mins of last game at Houston.. I circled this game as soon I saw marck Jackson face.. Oh I don't care how much millions they all get paid, but they are men with pride, and trust me.. You have to take advantage on situtations like this..I didn't want to post anything but either you take golden state or don't bet on this game tonight..
At Houston fans wanted one more 3.
Tonight fans would want " defense" .. So take a wild guess.. And make that money..

I would bet GS spread, ML , all 4 qtrs, total team point over..

He had a similar expression oh his face when he stared down the entire Clippers bench in a blowout loss early Jan...GSW exacted their revenge two weeks later, this is a similar situation

One of the best plays of the year so far.

although it's never a good sign when everyone is using the same angle for the same play, this is surely a good revenge angle.  Mark Jackson and the Warriors went out of their way to foul the Rockets last game to stop them from making more three's, even though they continued to try.  The real question though is, would this line be different if Houston didn't light up the Warriors with three's and only won by 8-10?

Jarrett Jack tested his injured shoulder in pregame and says he's going to play on Tuesday.

How many minutes he'll get, or how effective he'll be, remains to be seen, but if you own him, you might as well throw him in your lineup since it sounds like he will play. An earlier report had ruled him out.

Rockets are too fast and too strong for us warrior backers.

We just can't keep up w/that offense.
