What are people's thoughts on this game? There is bad blood between these two teams after last weeks fiasco. GS is coming off 4 straight losses which started with the loss to the rockets last week tues, losing four games in a span of 5 nights. GS has had two days back at home to prepare for this game, their last game before a much needed week long break. Meanwhile Houston is coming off a loss to sac on sat night before a b2b with GS and Clips. Really think that loss to Houston set the tone for the warriors awful road trip and they weren't able o recover from that loss on the rest of their trip, thinking that GS should come out focused to avenge their loss last week.
Thoughts? |

#8 Posted: 2/12/2013 1:09:28 AM The more I think about this game, the more I like GS to regroup from their road trip and get a big win right before the ASB. They've won 15 of the last 19 at home and this matchup has been dominated by the hometeam. Rockets still havent figured out how to win on the rod having lost 9 of 12 on the road and are 3-9 ATS last 12 on the road. GS is well coached and Mark Jackson remembers bad losses, if you remember the LAC game where Griffin was going up for windmill dunks in a 30 point blowout and GS came back and beat the clips in a statement game 2 weeks later. I'm taking GS for a unit tonight and will likely add more tmrw...also just to note, Lin is coming back to his hometown for the first time since Linsanity, he could be in for a big night also. |

Good stuff....also the last time these two played, I think Houston shot something like 65% from 3's on over 40 attempts.....thats the biggest fluke I have even seen in 25 years.... |

#13 Posted: 2/12/2013 3:45:44 AM Golden State is angry, but...they are also very frustrated, that might not be a great combination against this Rockets team that shoots it good, Houston won't be happy with GS's antics fouling to prevent the 3-pointer from going down
Harden's banged up though so that would help your GS play |

Harden's banged up though so that would help your GS play Houston treated that game like a playground scrimmage and showed no sportsmanship jacking up 3 pointers in the final minute with a 31 point lead trying to set a record. Golden State is the team that will be very unhappy. This is a real revenge spot in it's truest form. Warriors will return the favor with a monster defensive effort and a double digit win. One of the best plays of the year so far. |

#19 Posted: 2/12/2013 10:13:32 AM - While the Warriors (30-21) have been one of the NBA's better clubs over the first half of 2012-13, they allowed an average of 118.5 points and were outscored by 20.7 per game during their trek.
- "It's very frustrating," All-Star forward David Lee said. "Not only losing four games in a row, but in the manner that we lost them. Every team goes through those ups and downs during the season. The key for us is to figure it out sooner rather than later."
- This team can't figure out how to play defense...why back a team that gave up defense before the allstar break? GSW are 0-4 on 2 days rest...Houston loves to light it up on teams coming off a loss..Houston 18-5 ATS after opponent loss...
